An Unquestionable Return

Day 3,357, 14:37 Published in Australia Australia by Saiwun

!Hola mis amigos! Lo siento, permítame familiarizarse con la idioma local...

Ahem... Hello eAustralia,

It is good to be back! My adventures in deepest darkest Peru seem to be over, I have now landed back on the shores of eAustralia. My little trip to South America seems to have caused a little controversy, so I thought it best to clear the air, I am a known media writer after all!

I have played this game for quite a while, and I used to be quite politically active. Along with 'Dr Hugh Jardon', I worked very hard in order to secure eAustralia a place in LETO, which, I can happily say, worked out very well for Australia. Somehow, I eventually ended up as the first eAustralian to serve in Asteria HQ. Alas, nothing can last forever, LETO died and Australia moved on.

Approximately two years ago, relations broke down with our once ally, Peru. If you what to refresh your memory of what happened, you can read my stance here. (Hopefully I can write more articles like this in the future. I'm busy with studies right now, but might be able to fill the Australian media with some content).

Let me state this now: I do not think that we should be at war with Peru. We are old allies, there is no need for bad blood. Personally, I blame a lot of the problems that exist now on miscommunication.
If memory serves me correctly, the Peruvian government were not the best suited to negotiations in English.

I like Spanish. In real life I am a student. I have been studying Spanish for over four years, and, aunque mi acento es chocante and mi vocabulario es limitado, I can manage to some extent. I have many eFriends in Peru and get on well with them, many of you may know EBM. These are not unreasonable tyrants, intent on hegemony, these are approachable people who enjoy this game for what it is.

I have been accused of selling out Australia, of being a traitor and so on and so forth. Think of me what you will, I respect Peru and I wanted their flag on my profile (to be fair, I want the North Korean flag too). In my view, there is no need for hostility between our two nations.

Anyway, enough from me, I haven't written a proper article in ages, don't let me drone on. All that is left to say is that I hope you can welcome me back with open arms.

Oh, and a happy Chinese New Year!
