Alliance Results

2 Days I released a Poll to get the general consensus of the nation. So that not only as a Party the Executive can use this information to take the next step on selecting our foreign policy.

So without further or do, I present the results...

31 citizens voiced their concern on the matter coming back with

17 Votes for EDEN.
4 for Asgard
6 for CTRL
5 for ONE.

It is important to note that several votes that were messaged to me indicated that it was in there best interests to remain allies/friends with the following nations.

Portugal
Ireland
Colombia
USA
France
Germark

Another concern to take mention of, is that CTRL is an unofficial alliance. It’s a group of nations with no alliance that were in the making of creating a pact several months ago.

ONE has collapsed, and all that remains of the powerhouse it once was is the MPP’s that keep the nations bonded together.

Asgard is a new alliance based around Scandinavian nations. It’s undetermined on whether or not Asgard would be open to accepting Canada into it’s alliance, which could be a possibility we should look into.

EDEN. The longest lasting alliance in eRepublik and currently the strongest in the eWorld. With 18 members and 13049631560 influence dealt a day. They are a force to be reckoned with. EDEN held the largest amount of votes in the poll.

When eCanada left EDEN during Sperry’s term, they laid down some conditions. These would have to be revisited to see if they still stand to date or if exceptions would be made.

eCanada has always maintained somewhat reasonable relations between the USA. We have worked and supported each other in the past on multiple occasions and it is no secret that eCanada is holding it’s breath to see America’s Next Move.

From there as a nation we will be able to decide we will follow in the footsteps of our Bro’s or will we make our own path with Brotugal, Broland, etc.

Good, so when do we try to begin the process of rejoining EDEN?

EDEN won that showdown of the alliances, so you know they are pretty awesome.
But do we fit in there now? Given that we have been fighting in Indonesia against Croatia and Romania?

btw, America has issues with those unexpected MPPs that we recently signed.

lamedrunk, EDEN would probably want us to drop those MPPs before we go to them asking to be let back in.

The process of rejoining could be a long one if that is what eCan leadership sets out to do. I'm thinking that there will be a lot of resistance to doing so by current leaders who have been trying to move us away from EDEN over the last few months.
