America's Advancement Party.

When people say to me, "what comes to your mind when someone mentions the AAP" the first things I think of are;

With these ideals in mind, I have decided to candidate myself for Party President of this fine Party. This is my platform ~ hopefully you'll see these policies and ideas are what required to act as a Party and drive American Advancement.

Before we have a look at what I hope to achieve as PP, let's quickly skim over my experience. After all, it's important that you have a hard working, confident and experienced leader driving party members to the max. All in order to reach our maximum potential. I have served as a Cabinet minister for 7 months. This means I am pretty well versed with the ins and outs of government. Another thing I've managed to do 7 times is get elected to Congress. Again, a good understanding of how Congress functions will not only help us as a party, but help us get experienced knowledgable congressmen elected. Finally, I've been Country President 3 times. Dealing with institutions from the top is no problem for me. Am I new to this though? No, I have infact been a PP twice before in the past.

If you're looking for experience, I'm your man.


What I hope to do with the party

Time to take a look at my plans, ideas and initiatives that I'll force party members to follow should you vote me in as PP. There's a quite a few new interesting, innovative ideas I'm sure you'll like.

American

America. Land of the free, and other such things. We need to begin valueing what really is American, and our American citizens. It is for this reason that we must clamp down on inappropriate citizenship grantings, and put in place a strict policy for the granting of citizenship.


I propose we either stop granting citizenship, or only grant it to people who the President likes. Congress cannot be trusted to think Independantly.

This will ensure programs we run (free guns) will be exclusive to true americans. Not freeloaders who join because they can fight for free. "Lulz" or grantings to "Friends" must be stopped. Such PTO artists such as PizzaTheHut have been allowed to enter the country. He last distinguished himself as a member of the eUK's government and has probably been sent from there, as a spy.



Advancement

The party may have gone through some turbulent times, but I hope we can refresh the memberlist, refresh our congressmen, and refresh the party. We'll be taking the laid back approach, urging members to help us PM parties reminding them of the forums and IRC, all routes through which they can get involved. We'll focus on education too, in order to increase the experience and knowledge in the party we'll mentor congress candidates to ensure all of our elected members are the best they can be.

Congressmen should be allowed to think independantly and by doing so create the plans that allow us as a nation to Advance.

In order to follow our new laid back refreshing approach, I also propose a new logo for our great party, that really symbolises the regime I hope to run.

Having fun?

This is a game, games are for having fun. This is a party, parties are fun.

Unfortunately, recently, all the booze and chicks at this party have been leaving.

So what do I suggest?

We party hard. Games, fun things, orgies - it's all here in the AAP to make sure that the eUS still has fun. How do we intend to do this?

Attack teh Rooskies!

By attacking Russia, everyone will have fun. Unlike IRL, when we had fights with Russia and everyone just acted cold or something.

After all, this is a game ~ having fun is what it's all about.



Now to quickly outline my final thoughts on two major issues the eUS faces.

Sniping

As a potential PP, I feel it appropriate to voice my opinion on the controversial congress elections we saw on the 25th. Various experienced members were 'sniped'. Voted out the last minute and replaced with newer congressmen.

This caused some Anger in experienced congressmen who were now bogged down with sheepish voters, and were wondering why so many new and unexperienced players had been elected.

Now, as these experienced congressmen are voicing their opinions on the matter, the solution to me, is obvious.

We snipe all experienced congressmen out of Congress

Surprised? This sort of innovative idea is what sets the AAP apart from other parties. By getting rid of all experienced congressmen, noone will listen to them or take their complaints seriously. That way, the problem will become a distant glimmer on the horizon, and we can give the little guys a chance to mess up our economy for once.

Retention



This is a Q2 hospital.

This, is not the answer.

Instead, we take our new players. We run them for congress. And we vote them in instead of the experienced ones, as outlined above.

The responsibility will force them to stay, and we don't need to buy hospitals. It's WIN/WIN.

Finally, I'd like to finish by saying some kind words towards the other candidates.
