The past 36 hours or so have certainly been "interesting".
I find myself dumbfounded, struggling with what has happened in this country the past 1.5 days and not sure how I should feel. I guess the easiest way is to put all of my cards on the table.
The first thing on the list is Rolo winning the election.
This topic has a few facets that I'll go over quickly. First is Rolo winning the election itself. To say that this isn't something I would of gotten behind 100% a couple months ago would be a complete and utter lie. I'm not gonna say I'm something I'm not, and most of you know that if there's hyjinx to be had I'm usually the first one to jump on board. This type of thing would of been right up my alley, hell in a lot of ways it still is. That's where my first conundrum comes into play.
Rolo did something that I personally would of supported had the details been different. A pariah winning the highest office in the land. It has "Muglack" written all over it. Should my opinion of him winning change because of the reason he's an outcast and I was the poor schmuck in second? Only time will tell I suppose.
The next election related topic is the wonderful gentleman who finished in third. In case you're not familiar he's the guy who changed the name of his own party to try and steal enough votes to slide into second in an effort to become president if there's an impeachment.
Did he do what was best "for the country" and change his party name to support the other candidate who was in striking distance of the "pariah" that happened to be leading? Nope he sure didn't. He looked out for number one, eCanada be damned. Apparently his selfishness, pride, and ego were more important than the country. I warned you about him and you wouldn't listen.
Last election he lost he threw a hissyfit and ran to the eUK. This time he pulled a Nero and fiddled while the election burned. Hopefully people see the truth about this guy.
Number 2 on the list is Rylde, and his group of Ne'er-do-wells.
Let it be known that I in no way support or condone their actions. I am 100% against EVERYTHING they're doing, and did everything I could to convince Rylde to not do it. But as expected, talking to Rylde is like talking to a wall. To say he wasn't receptive would be an understatement.
Rylde's actions should be punished, and if I have any part in it they will be. Should Rolo be impeached my first action will be to name an AG and 4 Justices to fill the seats that are currently vacant and being proceedings against him. What the courts decide will be on them, but I feel he needs to be held responsible for his actions.
The last major topic on my mind is my cabinet.
It would seem most of them jumped ship to Rolo. Addy, IronToader, WallyCleaver, etc...
If there's an impeachment I'll go on a person by person basis to decide what to do. It obviously doesn't look good for Rylde or Addy, but I can't say anything for certain right now.
Anyway, that's where I stand right now. I'm sure I'll write another article soon as things happen and my mood changes. Walls of text are fun.

I waged a 15 hour battle after I woke up and you stayed completely silent and hid, nice way to portray things.
I was in second and looking for votes.
You were in third, and trying to get second instead of working together and trying to stop Rolo. It's not portraying things. I was closest, and instead of trying to work together to get one of us into office you decided you didn't like my cabinet and attempted to snake your way into second so you could be CP if there was an impeachment.
You can try to spin it anyway you want but that's the truth.

I recommended to Rolo that he offer cabinet posts to the people in the cabinets of both you and Aeriala. In essence, he was building a team with the players that the "clean" candidates were using.
Also, exclusive of who the leader was going to be, each of these ministers were willing to do these jobs. In a crazy sort of way, this is a change cocktail fit to deal with whatever craziness comes its way over this term.
The toilet bowl of eCanada is flushing. People whose patriotism was skin deep are leaving, those that bleed red and white are staying.
I agree with the Aeriala thing, he or you could have change their avatar or did something to consolidate that vote. As you had the lead, it made sense to have Aeriala's support thrown to you, but that moment has passed.
Again, I feel for you Mugs, and I'm confident that your time is coming.
Rolo offered me VP and I turned it down and am quite fine in that decision. I'm for letting Rolo have his chance now, not much else to do, we got our cards, lets see what happens.

My history on this is proven. When Aeriala was second behind WesLewis I changed my party's name to support him. Had I been in third I would of asked Venoms to change the name of MDP to something supporting Aeriala.
Don't get me wrong, Rolo's a friend as are most of the people behind the "Brown Wave" (I was even Rolo's lawyer in his theft case) but I support the construct and rules of the community so he shouldn't of been on the ballot.

Those who live by the lulz die by the lulz. We've had a lot of fun over the last couple years - not to point fingers only at you Muglack, who has enjoyed his own, but me too. A lot of us, maybe too many.
Could be that Rolo's win is a symptom that we don't know who to take serious or maybe that we don't want to. Like I said, maybe we secretly wanted it. I'm sure there are people who do believe Rolo will fix the country and get it ready for the right path to war. Really wanted it or kidding ourselves? meh

I still think Canada's fascination with court cases is funny, but best of luck getting the house in order up there.
