A Training War anyone?

Greetings Britain and friends,
This is the first of the weekly updates I will be doing to keep you informed about the present situation in our precious eWorld. Last time I talked about the Alliances and how everybody is everybody's friend. The UK couldn’t stay behind and is making friends in all corners of the map.
I wrote about this already in my capacity as Minister of Foreign Affairs but I didn’t want to keep spamming you with the Country's official Newspaper before we have some more news from the UK itself.
Today I went looking at the Natural enemies and picked up the phone to call all the countries who have an NE to ask them if they are at War, Resetting Determination or if it is a Training War they are playing out. It probably doesn’t come as a big surprise to you but I can tell you 80% of all current battles are Training Wars. Let me show you the NE proposals from this week (Monday - Friday)

Canada prepares an airstrike on Netherlands

Philippines has declared Saudi Arabia as a Natural Enemy
Switzerland has declared France as a Natural Enemy
Confirmed Training War
France has been proposed as Natural Enemy
Confirmed Training War
Ukraine has been proposed as Natural Enemy
Romania is resetting determination
China has been proposed as Natural Enemy
Haven’t heard back from either country
Brazil has declared Peru as a Natural Enemy
Peru has declared Brazil as a Natural Enemy

Philippines has been proposed as Natural Enemy
Confirmed Training War
Canada has been proposed as Natural Enemy.

Canada have their airstrike and TW with The Netherlands and the Irish wanted in.
Turkey has been proposed as Natural Enemy
Russia has been proposed as Natural Enemy.
Turkey however is facing some real battles with both Finland as Russia wanting to attack.
Serbia has been proposed as Natural Enemy
So are Serbia and Croatia fighting out real battles.

With this evidence in front of us, I can only conclude again that it are sad times. Training wars are mostly without spirit. Alliances are just in Name. There are no real differences between them no tactics involved to conquer each other. The only one is maybe Andes like I read in an interview with Pacifica SG, although they are always doomed to fail as they are now.

If I were Plato I would give bh rewards based on damage in that round/division.Damage for epic gets 2xBH reward then percentage damage 😛ercentage reward.
And as far as alliances goes...some conquer some don't.That implies some sort of strategy 😃
We should not blame the players for what the core game encourages to do. Currently it encourages meaningless wars for TP and BH medals. Want to get rid of training wars? Get rid of True Patriot.

Why would you need strategy in a game about pressing 3 buttons?
A 10 CC per million medal is to blame?

You'd be surprised how much it affects certain players.
eUK knows ony to well the power of a TP medal... it pretty much destroyed what litte coordination we had as a country.
Yes, and I also think that would be oversimplifying things.
We're talking about a medal worthing 1000 CC, a medal that hadn't geenerated such a problem when worthing 5 golds.
It's 1000cc more than in any other battle without CO. People generally hit where it's profitable (plus """patriotic""" in case of TP). That's an observation from the last few years.
But, again, that wasn't the problem when the medal paid 5 golds.
Thanks, but I much prefer your blaming to Andes. That explains better the current situation.
I'm pretty confident there were training wars then too. And no, I am not offering TP medals as a root cause of the current situation of the game. I am pointing out it is a factor which encourages nations to have their own wars, as the drawbacks of that are close to none

Assteria and her m/puppets need to die in order to breathe new life into the game. Other alliances have taken heed when the game has stagnated before and closed up shop to usher in a new age.
imo, we use RNG to make new alliances and see where we go from there...
