40 Days and 40 Nights – Europe & North America

In true Gilgamesh fashion, this war has unleashed chaos and conflict throughout the world. Since Day 601, nearly 1000 events have graced the International News Feeder – almost all of them related to this Third World War. In addition to the devastation in North America, the European map has undergone considerable change on several occasions.

Since the beginning of this war, 3 European nations – Germany, Switzerland, and Spain – have seen complete annihilation (save for Germany’s Saarland region). Norway, France, and Britain have also seen changes in their landscape; and now Turkey and Greece have entered into open conflict in their ongoing war.

It is undeniable that the developing events in Europe are worthy of international attention. Coupled with the invasion of North America, these border changes represent the totality of this conflict.

Below are two dynamic images – one of North America, and one of Europe. Each shows the daily change in territory over the past 40 days. Together, these maps contribute to an evolving picture of this game – something not readily available through any other mapping project.
