[Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?] Series 2 Announcements

Day 5,652, 19:08 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by ArchieSmith

Welcome back to Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, the best, most interactive, most intense quiz and game show in all of eRepublik! Last episode, AMD became our first million pence winner of the season! Remember that at the end of this series, we'll be bringing back our top players from throughout this new season for a chance at a whole lot more cash.

But what's this I'm hearing in the earpiece I only put in when I'm not asking contestants questions? We don't have another contestant on deck? This is absolutely unacceptable! I can't have the Spamicans running laps around the idea that a non-Spamican is struggling with engagement... oops, did I say that out loud?

Anyway, we have to rectify this situation, so here's an announcement: two big money tree revamps! The top prize for the main show is an unchanged 1 million pence - we could hardly call ourselves Millionaire without offering one, count 'em, one million of something! But we're making it easier for our players to win more money more quickly on that tree; take a look at our very stylish, somewhat inflated new prize amounts:

And now a much more important announcement: due to an unexpected onslaught of training war income, among other, more dubious sources of funding, we at Millionaire are pleased to announce that instead of giving away up to ten million pence when we play Super Millionaire with one of our past winners at the end of the season, the grand prize will instead be 25 million pence - a whopping 250,000 GBP if someone can answer 15 questions correctly! This is the money tree that we'll use at the end of the season for whoever shows up, plays our smaller-stakes game, and qualifies for our tournament:

I think I can safely say that answering 15 questions correctly on a 6 or 7 1/2 minute time bank is the fastest way someone can win 250,000 GBP in all of eRepublik. This is two months' daily wages we're talking here! So what are you waiting for? Join our Discord today! AMD and Paul Tyndale have already made our leaderboard below:

1. AMD; 1,000,000p; 10 correct answers; 0:18 in the time bank
2. Paul Tyndale; 1,000p; 6 correct answers; 1:28 in the time bank

At the end of this series, the top five players (first by money won, then by correct answers, then by time in the bank) will be invited back to play for that 25 million pence grand prize - that's £250,000!
