[ULJ][Tsunami] A Reflection, and My Promise

Hello everyone~
When I first joined this game, way back in the triple-digit era of 2009, I was a timid little high schooler who was too afraid to talk to anybody, and certainly get involved anywhere. it's hard to imagine myself going from a simple farmer in the plains of Alaska to being co-head of an entire ministry...?
Anyway, I didn't come here to talk about that. But rather, and I should say rather suddenly, I've found myself capaulted into the central government, and suddenly the only person in the Tsunami coalation currently involved in municipal affairs. Seeing as we pulled in *at least* fifty-three votes yesterday, that concerns me.
I want to say this, and I think it needs to be said now more than ever: I stand with the Tsunami coalition is advocating for a free and fair eJapan, and that will not change. The Sakura Constitution is still very much a thing (negotiations will continue as the new government gets settled in), and my allegiance after my country goes to my political party.
As an offical of the cabinet, I'm going to do my best to bring my voice to the table. Honestly, I feel as if I lack the right to, as I stand in the way of so many others who have worked to better this country. But my promise to you, to all who came before me and will most surely follow, is that I will help create a eJapan where ALL of our voices matter. This I swear.
For the Members of the ULJ (and all who are interested)
IRL Things have kept longtime veterans like Sinon and Sophia Forrester busy, and in an effot to ensure that the party continues to run in their absence, I've taken over as Interim President in the short-term. This is only until proper party elections can be held, and the positions re-shuffled, but I promise I stand to support and represent you all just like Sinon did.
Our party is the oldest active political party in eJapan. We have a rich background with a lot of history, and I found this Gem from our party's re-founding from Day 513 of the New World (or Sunday, April 19th, 2009)
"The [United Lolies of Japan], while not following the usual political theme as most parties do, will hopefully attract more membership, and with it, more active users who strive to strengthen Japan, economically, politically, and any other way, and bring all Lolies together. To create a country where we all live without cheating. To be strongly unified, and do what we can for each other, no matter the party or country origin. To live equally with all! We will fight those who will attack us, we will defend our friends, and we will become a great country, with your help, we can do it!
This statement is no more true now than it was almost six and a half years ago. And the path we walk today is evidence of that. By joining the government of the CtG, I am attempting to walk the path of Friendship, to bring our enemies closer so that we may be free from walking in their shadows but instead in the divine light we were destined to share.

For you, for the people of Tsunami, for the expatriates who are no longer with us and the victims of a political civil war that are struggling to get back in, for every eJapanese citizen that is, will be or ever was, I promise to not rest until we have a country where we can all stand as equals, where we can live in a place where we can be free, and place where we can all move together into the future.

Simply said they are two sides of the same coin, one side accusing the other for treason and heresy towards eJapan. In truth, both sides are pretty much equally guilty and it's mostly ULJ that tries to negotiate between them and take responsibility for our own faults and wrongdoings.
One true fact though, is that the "opposition" is quite well organized and deal with different issues and situations effectively, while Tsunami still lacks organisation, in addition to motivation and effectiveness. This is also the main reason why the "opposition" has gained more power than Tsunami.

Don't be ridiculous. The only thing because they gained more power is because they have full control through their power installed by the TO.
In the current situation it's not surprising that nobody really cares about a possible lost cause.
HEX, must I remind you that the two of us are among those responsible for their dictatorship in the first place?
Had we not done the bad choice of supporting that first dictatorship-attempt, things would have looked quite different.

I would be very interested if you could make an article talking about the difference between the Tsunami-alligned and the opposition. I only loosely understand that Tsunami represents the older generations and that the opposition have only recently gained power, but I do not know which parties claim allegiance to which side, or which individuals in our current government align where.
Listing some key differences between the two parties would also be appreciated. Thanks!

In regards to the different parties standings, you could say that CtG and TLS are the far-right coalition, while SSG along with those parties openly supporting Tsunami are the far-left coalition. Then you have ULJ and DNP which is in the center and has its support split between both sides.
But what makes a party left or right winged in this game?

Interestingly enough, the ULJ and DNP were the two parties that caught my attention first. I already dislike the TLS CTG parties because they seem to lack seriousness and because our countries ruling President and myself already took a lack of fond liking to each other haha
You cannot judge to the group of 100 people only from your experience with only one person 🙂
Regarding the one you refer to, I have to agree with you. But at the same time what SW wrote is true as well. There are several people in those two parties that one can have serious and formal discussions with, it's just that sometimes they are a bit harder to find than those less serious members 😛
