[UKRP] Final PP Announcement

Day 1,881, 17:51 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Darkmantle

Hey everyone,

Sorry for the late announcement, but I have been so busy! This is my final article not just for UKRP but the eUK as well, as I just resigned as UKRP PP and am moving back to eUSA, my true home. I came back to help the UKRP some more and I did all that I could, now it is time for me to step back - I've realised us oldfags can't do as much as we really want too, I will let a newer generation take over from here onwards.

congratulate BigAnt on his win - no matter what our differences are it was a good election and he won fairly. I would, however, like to state that

Recruitment

This is a sore subject as recently we dropped back down again, into 6th place and losing a lot of members that we worked hard to gain. I have to admit that not only myself, but everyone else has failed to keep up the recruitment activities due to exam periods and going back to school etc. However, this is not to say that we're not working hard enough, I am sure that with the right drive next term the UKRP will pick back up again.

UKRP Forums

In the forums we have had a HUGE mass of active and interesting discussions started, ranging from exams to alcohol to how old we are. There are many political discussions going on about in-game elections, our own policies (see links below) and even discussions about RL politics. The forums are becoming more active for UKRP and although this could improve, it is good to see that the UKRP family are doing their best to keep everyone going.

Our policies can be shown here, wonderfully published by Thomas765:

PP Elections

Finally I would like to announce our candidates for the PP elections. This month we only have 2 running so have opted for a full-on campaign, not that eiter have started yet! Hopefully today you will see a flurry of campaigning and manifestos from 2 of our very own members who have been in the UKRP for a long time, and are respected by all. I wish them both the best of luck!
