[Sluagh] Ireland, Do You Want To Dance?

Campaign Theme Song

Citizens of Ireland,

Today I announce my official candidature for the high office. The past few days have been a turbulent time for Ireland. We were easily wiped aside by the Asterian-backed Republic of Moldova and thus denied our congress. Communications were weak and activity was worryingly low. This is a downward trend that has been consistently threatening our nation, following our wipe, the consequences of this threat have been evident. We need a solution and we need it now.

The solution is national co-operation, maintaining a driven community and sustaining a passionate nation. This solution is not easily reached, it takes time and effort. I am willing to give the people of Ireland both my time and effort in a bid to strengthen our nation in both military and community. I have shown my capabilities in organisation by establishing the [Éire Mass Messaging System], a project I wish to continue into the foreseeable future. Whilst serving as Minister of Defence this month I have also been exposed to weaknesses in the Executive, weaknesses I tend to address and amend. We should not ignore our faults but isolate them and fix them.

Last time I ran for election I was bloodthirsty and called for war, I thought we were ready. I was wrong. We are not ready and need to be prepared, let me prepare Ireland. I have worked the past month as Minister of Defence and have seen what needs to be done and what needs to be improved.

My term will be simple but effective, the following are my priorities:

1- Enhance Ireland’s communications
2- Fundraise for an airstrike
3- Revision of new citizens message & resources

I will release an article in the next 24 hours further outlining my plans in detail as well as side projects and other possible plans. A quick spoiler is that I have no intention to launch an AS, I just believe we should have the funds available should we be required to launch one.

Do not doubt my capabilities. I have served in the Irish Ministry of Defence every month except one since January. I have also served the past term as dSG of Aurora and have played a large part in enhancing our alliance's communications.

Ireland, do you want to dance?

Love,

An Sluagh.
