*RP* What is IRC and how to use it
Icetek
Dear eAustralians, and fellow Reform Party Members,
As some of you are new players (which is lovely by the way) i welcome you to this addicting yet empty game. Some of you have been asking me if the REFORM PARTY had a forum or anything to communicate easier. The answer on the forum is it is coming in 1-2 weeks.
However we do use IRC. So, IRC is short for Internet Relay Chat and its just a big messy server full of chat rooms.
How to get on IRC?
There is 2 ways;
1st way is threw the browser directly, which is really annoying and requires more work. To do this, go here. http://www.mibbit.com/
- Once on this page, under SIGN UP you will see blue click on text that says LAUNCH APP. Click on it.
- Once the APP has opened. Drop down the MENU from Connect. Find RIZON [webirc] (or just press R 3x)
- Insert your NICK and in CHANNELS type #eAUS or #REFORM
2nd way is to download a IRC Client directly. Keep in mind they are different Clients out their, some you have to buy, some are free. Best is to get on goggle or you can ask me for help. **Keep in mind Clients are complicated until you get the learning curb over with, but will simplify your life ten-fold.

**DO THIS ONCE YOU ARE IN IRC IF YOU WANT TO REGISTER YOUR NAME**
Registering your nickname:
/msg nickserv register password valid@email.address
• password
It is recommended that your password is at least eight characters and contains a mix of letters and numbers. Regular words, like those found in a dictionary, will not be accepted.
• valid@email.address
We do block some e-mail providers, and the list changes as we find out about a new service that blocks our e-mails. For a gauranteed success in registering your nick, use Gmail.

The correct IRC channel is #ausrep #eaus is not used by anyone important.
Go back to spreading rumors little child. Try fighting for eAUS and try not to suck the stick of every elite here for personal gains.
I hate people like you, unmotivated, unimaginative, and always looking to leech of others. You my friend are a follower, and nothing more then a slave for the rest of us.,

And dont forget to join #ausrep for the official eAustralian chat channel and www.auserepublik.com for the official eAustralian forums.
Negative. This is a Reform Party article, and as one of our reforms is to get rid of ausrep IRC and forums, we will not be using that.
2 things.
1. #ausrep is and will allways be the official IRC channel for the country.
2. you should have just setup a link given by the website that takes you directly to the chan
1. Your certainty is amusing to me.
2. This is a article for my Party, so why would i push something that i am trying to change?
This is not about roleplay 🙁
We do touchy feely stuff on weekends. Its a great party.
The official Australian IRC channel is #ausrep on rizon.net. Troll free!
Otherwise great article!
