[PotUS] Day Five

Day 3,279, 19:06 Published in USA Poland by Wild Owl

Hello America,

It's been four days since my last article and you are all due an update. A fair amount of work has happened in the past few days and I'll try to touch on all of it here.

Thailand Training War

We share a bitter and acrimonious relationship with Thailand, and I am certainly not even going to attempt to rewrite history, or change what happened in the past. However, at the time, they were willing to block Indonesia from going into their cores and to do a training war with us, which brings us more True Patriot Medals for our citizens, and we are very thankful for that. I would like to thank my Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ilene Dover, for her dedication and excellent work in arranging this TW.

USAF/USAAC

Last month, on the campaign trail, I said that I would like to keep USAF/USAAC as seperate entities ingame, and will not be trying to merge them. However, after talks with the leadership and several members of both MUs, (USAAC only had around 5 actives in the first place, including the leadership), it was decided with mutual consent to merge the two MUs together. I was surprised and impressed with the candor and willingness of everyone involved to work together, and am thankful that a potentially prickly situation has been solved easily.

Our Airstrike

Currently, the United States of America only has 21% of the food required to launch an airstrike. This is quite low, and doesn't do us any favours, if we would be required to launch an airstrike against an enemy. I would like to request anyone who is able to please donate any food that they can to the US treasury, so we are able to have the capability to launch one if needed. Just to be clear, we have not picked a target yet, but I strongly believe that it is time to be prepared and to have all potential options open against our enemies.

tl;dr: If you can, please donate food to the eUS airstrike fund.

That's all for now. Expect more updates soon.

Sincerely,
Wild Owl
