[PL] A moment of reflection

Day 3,386, 01:22 Published in Cuba Iran by Janty F

Greetings, friends,

Congress elections have ended, and the results have been... not very pleasant for most of the parties, including Partido de la Liberacion.

I will skip over the fact that the least active party in Congress has been the only one gaining votes (hopefully the rest of the parties will not follow this example 😃 ) and I will focus solely of PdL. As you may have noticed in the past couple of days (or hours), there are some unusual things going on lately.

1. The amount of PP candidates in PdL is growing, despite PP elections being in 15 (?) days.
2. We have no Secretary General.
3. The amount of our members does not at all corresponds with the number of the votes we gained.

How is that possible, you might ask? I will not hide any secrets here, because PdL (atleast under my leadership) is always transparent to its members and to our citizens. In the last few days, PdL underwent a big debate concerning PP elections. Completely unnecessary debate, if I might say. And in some cases, that debate has turned our very nasty. The start of this debate was really simple - someone just made a dumb mistake and pressed the wrong button at the wrong time. But the aftermath was not good. And you can see it right in the graph. While the party has spent hours and hours arguing about PP elections, we totalLy missed the elections for Congress.

And we lost.

We lost badly.

I hope this has been a good lesson to all of us. Instead of arguing, we should bring new ideas. Instead of boosting our own egos, we should focus on helping our party. Instead of randomly pressing (or not pressing) buttons, we should actually do something useful for the entire country.

Or else we will lose again.
