[MoFA] Updates For Day 1009

Day 1,009, 03:29 Published in United Kingdom North Macedonia by Foreign Office

Whats wrong with modern diplomacy?

Hello, eUK and all my other audiences. I apoligise for my lack of updates in the last few days; the eUK has been amongst a whirlwind as we fight back Acacia's golden-sweet army, and we have been re-settling after John Bartlett's resignation as President. Jamesw has taken over as President, and I have moved into a dual role as MoFA and "spiritual" Vice-President for the remainder of the term. Other than that, no major changes have taken place. As I am summarising numerous days more, I wont explain battle intracacies this time, instead I will just summarise the events that have occured.

Europe has been the most eventful, as per usual. The United Kingdom is still fighting its war against Canada, and have managed to keep them away from Fortress London, for now at least. They were rocked by the resignation of President Bartlett, and are currently at 6 regions with France acting as a buffer in the South East. This means that Canada either need to get through 3 eUK regions, or get through the French owned South East without eUK attacking the region, to hit London. Finland are marching through Norway and currently pressing the Russian owned areas, likely in a bid to wipe Norway off the map so that they can be MPP-free once more. Bulgaria, one of the countries that dont have home high resources, claimed high grain from Bosnia. There has been pain as Russia have been attacked by the USA, China and Poland, who have also now got a border with that vital region, Liaoning. According to Krems, Russia shall no further be tormented by EDEN forces who no longer want to go further; however, USA now have a barrier with China and Poland in between them and Russia. Ukraine and France also both joined up with Phoenix. Hungary is also moving north, after a small swap through Austria.

Over in Asia, Poland has gotten ever closer to the eventual attack on Liaoning. They could now press the button at anytime, and is this why EDEN have chosen not to tear through Russia? Only time will tell. China have become part of the barrier in Russia, while Indonesia are directing citizens to Australia in time for Congress elections, to try and keep the nation under lockdown.

North America has been business as usual, for Canada at least. They continue their campaign in the eUK and havent yet had a region of their own touched. Acacia Mason continues to make articles proffesing his quite reasonable pride in his country, which are noticed well in the eUK; is he the best Canadian CP ever? The USA marched into Russia and have kept their land behind a wall of Poland and China which may make it difficult for Russia to see it again for a while, while seriously damaging the Russian economy.

-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ -~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ -~-~-~-~

South America has been rather quiet, but not as quiet as usual. Bolivia have secured back some regions from Peru however were beaten back in the Bolivian Altiplano by Argentina. Brazil attacked the South Africa region of Northern Cape, which seems to be an unprecedented move as South Africa are supposedly under PTO by Hungary. This triggered an impeachment attempt against the Brazillian president; this attempt has been beaten back thus far.

I presume I have missed some bits, and any additional events would be welcome in the comments section. Its been a while and we are going to step up the articles so hopefully, we should have more concentrated updates every 3 days for you now.
