[MoFA] The Brazil-eUK Summit August 2010

Day 1,010, 07:21 Published in United Kingdom North Macedonia by Foreign Office
This month, the eUK Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been graced by some fantastic people. This article has come about because of two of them.

The eUK-Brazil Summit came about as a way of trying to further strengthen our already naturally strong relations. The eUK Diplomat in the region, John Rupert Miranda, worked with the Brazillian MoFA to start building the plan for this summit. I admit my initial input was little; I trust my diplomats as great workers and he proved me completely right when he then told me it was all sorted and we finalised arrangements and topics.

On the 22nd August, we turned up at the IRC channel, Jan Baykara spammed an audience into the channel and we gathered up as many Cabinet and Military officials as possible and then talks began. We talked about numerous things we thought fairly important and interesting and we discussed for over an hour and a half about how things worked; I was honoured to see Mr Woldy (Minister of Communications) talk about our military with Jan (Military Commander), Daniel Thorrold (Minister of Home Affairs) talk about our interal affairs and even more of our Ministers and Army officials just chat; some things may not be practically helpful but in reality, this was a hugely productive affair.

And thats why I have to thank Andy Millward, who spent the whole of the summit taking notes and writing things down (and ordering me to ask for further details), so he could compile one of the neatest reports I have ever seen. I believe that it is incredible; read it by clicking the image below.

A final thanks to all involved in this successful event.
