[MoCHE] Empress Day (It's Never Too Late Edition) - December 2015 (Nominations)

Day 2,962, 02:18 Published in Japan Russia by shirosakura

The Ministry of Culture, History and Education is proud to be sponsoring Empress Day! Empress Day, for those who don't know, is eJapan's (and one of the eWorld's) longest running traditions. Our first and eternal Emperor of eJapan, Kokawayoshi Makoto, would take a girl from Japanese animated media and crown them the honorary Empress of eJapan. Even though our Emperor is no longer with us, this proud tradition of our people continues to today.

The rules are as follows:

1 - All citizens of eWorld have right to participate/nominate in this event regardless of their home country. You can nominate 1 (one) candidate for Empress. If you wish to nominate a questionable candidate, please present a public case as to why you believe they are acceptable when making your nomination. The MoCHE reserves the right to determine what candidates qualify for the competition.

2 - All nominees must be from an Anime Series (OVA/OAV, movies, ONA, tv series), a Japanese Video Game, or a Japanese Manga. Please no Hentai/Porn. Again, even if a character does not fall into this category, they may still qualify! Ask.

3 - All nominations must at least include a name, image, and the name of the media (series, movie, manga, game, etc) the nominated character appeared in. Please do not post images containing nudity. Additional information regarding your character is welcome. Please bear in mind that any of the information given in your nomination may be placed in any future publication or posting.

4 - All nominations must be posted in the nomination article or through PM.

5 - No previous elected Empresses can be nominated for a 2nd term. However, Royal Ambassadors, or previous runner-ups for empress can be re-nominated for a chance to be Empress. They can continue to be re-nominated indefinitely, regardless of how many times they have been elected Royal Ambassador unless they are elected Empress even once. Following that election, they are permanently disqualified from running.

6 - Empress Day Nominations will last for 2 days.

7 - Empress Day Voting will begin immediately once the nomination period is over, on Friday. Winners will be announced on Tuesday.

8 - Campaigns for specific nominations are allowed, but the committee will take no part in the campaigns. However, the committee will post content from each nomination in a uniform format in a future voting announcement article.

9 - The person who nominates the winning Empress will receive 1000 yen. The runner up will receive 500 yen.

10 - The committee reserves the right to change these rules at any time. The committee also reserves the right to disqualify nominations if rules are broken or if any questionable matters arise.

You saw it here first! In order to increase the number of submissions, I'm making a change to allow nominations right here in the voting thread! However, the same rules as above still apply. Any incomplete nominations won't be counted! You can also go the traditional route and message me here

Happy voting!
