Shiina Mashiro or Takanashi Rikka i'd say (I know I have no say). I find it more interesting to follow as I'm watching the anime they're both from as they're coming out.

Sakurasou no pet na kanojo was a bit of a surprise for me, I didn't expect much from it, but I've found it quite enjoyable.

I remember Atoli, but barely, I haven't watched a .hack series in years, they were some of the first series I watched when getting into anime. Though, along with Squibeel, my vote will go to Shiina Mashiro.
