[MoC] Ministry of Community - To much stuff to fit in this title

Day 4,320, 18:46 Published in Ireland United Kingdom by Rory Winterbourne II

Introduction

Hi I’m Vincent the goat and I’m the Minister of Community this term. I see this role more along the lines of bridging the gap between the government, congress and the public. To accomplish this I’ll be published congress news, interviewing government members and party leaders, and other various community related stuff. Hope you find it mildly interesting and if you have any ideas on how it can be improved upon, or would like to help out, let me know.

Congress Round up

Key discussion points and votes are included.

Completed Proposal - doncroata

Concession proposal

USA has agreed to restore the old deal we had and bring us the 100% food bonuses. We weren't paying much for it, I think it wasn't more than 45k a month and it served our producers great. Hopefully it will attract the others to build their food companies. Our weapon bonus isn't bad either, but there's not much room for improvement there as concessions are MUCH higher for it and there's an extra fee to rent the rubber for example.

Not voted on but unanimous support.

New citizens

Ireland welcomes,

corazonmillonario

From now onwards I’ll be posting links to players that join Ireland, give them a warm welcome, send a friend request, a message, random amounts of stuff out of your inventory, a picture of a pint of Guinness - whatever you like.

Country Awards Nominations

It was suggested that a return of community awards would be a fun idea so here they are, there will be three stages, nominations, voting and the awards. Here is a link,

Click it to nominate anyone in each category, add any additional ones you’d like also. Thanks Anthony Colby for the suggestion.

Lottery

Open to Irish citizens, simply pick a number 1-100 and post it in the comments (check its not taken first). I’ll use a random number generator and the closest to that number wins all. This week the prize is…
