Happy Monday fellow citizens,

Yesterday I wrote a rough proposal or the Party Presidents on what I would like to accomplish as Country President. Today I’ll write it all down for everyone to read. I hope you take the time to read and participate. Although I am old school eRepublik and my instinct tells me to write a big manifesto I will spare you and myself the “blabla” and get to the point.

First point on the agenda is to make sure that every player who is active (not just breathing) and wants to join me gets a position in cabinet. The UK has become too small for petty party wars. Players who dare speak up and form their own opinions are valuable for a little country. I like to cherish those players that think this game is still worth the effort of playing. Keeping the spotlight on them, their ideas and activities may prolong their willingness to play a little longer.


I will not invent titles for the sake of titles but they will get a seat at the table and a task if they choose to accept it.



Home affairs:

Second major concern is making the UK stronger as a nation. In my opinion this can only be done we the Country invests in its citizens. Taxpayers money should flow back to the population and that in a way our Nation gets better for it. Some projects have been in place for years.

- Tanks for voting battle orders and fighting
- Huey’s airbattle program which I like to see extended and funded

I would like to see that we reinvest taxes in to our players some to make them stronger fighters and economists. Me myself, am not the best player with numbers but with Huey on the money I am sure together with congress we can come up with a few ideas. I will also be looking for players who are willing to run one and make sure it is widely known and advertised.



Something my MU leader is promoting I would like to use as an example of what I think should be available for all employers should be using the houses effectively. Encourage employers/MU holders of implementing this scheme where players can make a profit from using Q1 houses to work and increase maximum energy and energy recovery which in turn makes you able to fight more while spending less time, have more money for weapons.

- 1 Q1 hous costs +/-1000
- 750 per week profit
- but you can work 1 more time
- residency : standard 50HP bar and +2/6 min
- Q1 house = +50HP bar en +2/6 min,
- Q2 = +80 HP en +2/6 min
So with a Q1 one house in your own residency you get +100 on the health bar and +4 HP/6 min extra and if you add another Q2 house you get another extra 180 on the health bar and +6 HP/6 min

We have seen little fun and games from domestic players. The big metagame is regressing with a staggering rate. Role play was never my forte but over the years there have been brilliant schemes. We seen sporadic activity of players who try to revive some of the fun and games to our little community. They should be rewarded for putting the effort. You can see this as a request for those who think their talent lay in these activities.



Defence:

Which brings me to the Defence Department that ‘s been seriously neglected the few months I have been back. I realise that there is little fun to be have in setting battle orders in an eWorld with only Training Wars active. Lets face it guys, clicking that fighting button is one of the most important activity everyone does when logging in to this game. It makes a difference on your strength it generates a steady income when done right. For the happy few who made it their mission it is also giving them Glory. So instead of moaning about the lack of real wars (yes I am also guilty about that) we work with the Training Wars and we milk it as it were. Instruct, teach and motivate our soldiers what they can do best to advance and become “stronk” with preferably a decent bankaccount.

Instead of setting battles orders in terms of alliance battles that don’t matter at the current rate this game is going we should look at ourselves and make UK stronger by choosing the battles that will bring the best turn-out for our players.

Today we also remember the 500.000 soldiers who were killed at Passendale in WWI

The future
Past month we have been reducing MPPs in the first place because some were conflicting with our training wars especially with Georgia who didn’t have any MPPs and proved to be a problem. Our MPP stack has become smaller but we do have our Training War with Sweden.
We can go two ways in this, maybe three. We can reshape our MPP stack and go with the consensus of eWorld to friend everybody. UK can say it has been friends with almost all the world at some point and although it has been fighting a lot of old friends too in the past we always been able to keep those important friendships going. At the end of the day...everybody needs a war.
Options are: We can throw money towards a Training War AS or we try and start a real war. I am sure pro’s and cons will be discussed at length in Congress.



Foreign Affairs:

Last but not least Foreign Affairs.
This department is my baby. I am not going to set up huge project for ambassadors like I would have done in the past. However, anyone who is really interested and spends more than an hour a day on the game I am willing to let them take the FA journey with me and with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I have been saying this like forever, you can only be someone and do stuff in FA and as CP if you get to know players in other countries.

Analysing battles, overlooking the news for interesting developments is part of the day to day tasks of this department. Best case scenario get it out for all to read.

Congress should really be motivated discussing our alliance policies. Therefore the Government should provide them with fact and figures about what they do, how active they are what are the pro and cons. Do we really need them? Why? All sorts of questions and options if any.This is also the task of Foreign Affairs Department.



I know you guys will be commenting on the wall of text. I can’t help it as I am on Holiday away from home a whole 3 days! Do me a favour and try to read it and if you really really can not bring yourself to do it, I will be available and answering pm’s till tomorrow ( First of August) and give a small breakdown on the 4th when I am back.
