[Junkrat] How To Get ±100 BH Medals Per Week As a Newbie!
Junkrat
In the town where junk is king,
A Rat named Junk, full of zing.
High on coke, with friends in tow,
Laughs and battles, putting on a show.
Junk Talks his way through the night,
Trash-talking, yet his heart is light.
In battles fierce, he takes his stand,
Fighting hard for his junk-filled land.
But amid the chaos, a heart so kind,
For newbies, he’s a guide to find.
With advice and care, he lends a hand,
Helping them grow, making a stronger band.
So in this town of chaos and fun,
Junk Rat dances until the day is done.
A wild spirit, both fierce and mild,
Embracing newcomers like a friend, not wild
In the last week, i’ve seen a handful of new comers to the game. All of which could use some BH(Battle Hero Medal) farming strategy to grow their wallets and up their gaming experience.
I’m sure there are similar articles being written before, but felt like a new one could bring some value to our eSociety.
How to get ±100 BH Medals in a week as a newbie?
Every week you get 70 fuels. Weeks starts from Tuesdays in eRepublik! You get +1 Fuel every day if you manage to complete your daily challenge.
That makes it an opportunity to farm 11x2 = (22) BH Medals per day. Thus earning ±44 golds per day in division 1 at the maximum.
Bare with me so i explain to you the details how to most efficiently farm those medals…
Picking Wars:
90% of the wars in the eWorld are TWs(training wars). Countries have those in agreement with each other, so they can fight and farm medals and share recourses.
In lower divisions, specially division 1 and 2, those training wars are usually pretty under-crowded. Some rounds even end up having no battle heroes.
So you want to focus on those TWs, to farm your medals.
Note: Avoid serious battles / daily orders when you are trying to farm. Serious battles are priority one for doing serious damage for your country. Not designed for farming.
Fuels:
You get 70 fuels each week. And +1 every day by completing your daily challenge. With each fuel, you can fight in both sides of the same round/division in a battle.
After you picked your battle, you want to look at the history of it to see which side should win it, and which side should lose it.
Managing your energy and experience:
Start fighting for the winning side, spending around 70 to 100 energy on the winning side. Then immediately travel to the other side and spend 50 to 70 energies on the losing side. So you make the wall fixed in favor of the winner, and nobody else need to hit it.
Note¹: you want to do as less hits as possible for these medals. So you save your energy bars, get medals with least amount of energy spent, and also manage your experience levels so you don’t get to division 2 very quickly.
Note²: You want to stay at division 1 as long as possible, to stay in an under-crowded division and farm more easily.
Note³: Also, being a good low division soldier is rare in eRepublik. Countries need low division warriors to manage their serious battles. That makes it another valuable reason to manage your XP and stay in division 1/2 as long as you possibly can.
Damage, weapons and bazookas:
You can easily manage to win the BH with 200 to 1000 damage done. No more needed. So don’t fight with your bazookas. Save them for a rainy day.
That’s again because division 1 is pretty under-crowded.
Note ¹: this is for when you want to pick a safe battle and go farm without competing for medals. Competition happens. And you may decide to use bazookas against bullies sometimes. But again, 90% of the times, if you pick right, it won’t happen. For the other 10%, you decide what you want to do.
Traveling:
With this farming strategy, you will have to do a lot of traveling, to be able to fight in both sides of the battles and find new battles as well.
Note: Make sure you use CC(Country Currency) when you traveling a short distance location. Only use travel ticket for longer distance travels. You can change travel settings in your profile.
Conclusion:
Following that strategy, you will be able to farm 100 BH Medals each week. Now what you do with the earned gold will be up to you!
Let me know if i missed anything, or if you have any questions about it. So that other people can get as detailed information as possible and make the most out of their days.
PS: As a lower division warrior, your damage is valuable to your country when there are real fights going on. Your division points can change the outcome of a battle. So while you are farming to grow your account, keep in mind that you are doing it to help your country win at the end of the day.
More on wars, and division points here. See you on the battlefield, comrade! o7

Ok
I think this is a great article with very detailed information at some point. Maybe even too detailed at some point 😃
Anyway, I have a few suggestions I wanted to share with you:
Regarding the traveling. I think, especially since you safe energy, its better to pick like five free battles, hit on eUSA side (or whatever country you are fighting for), then after switch to the other sides and apply correct wall changes. This way, you safe a bit of traveling (traveling back to residence or whatever). After you did that, you can repeat in another five battles. I suggest five, as its not much time that it takes to apply all wall changes and minimizes chances that other people see the wrong walls and waste their fuels on it or even beat you for doing a wrong wall. I hope you get what I am saying.
Regarding which sides win:
95% of all training wars are "defender wins". so you dont need to check the summary. you see from the campaign page, who is attacker (by the small sword on the bottom corner). in (as said before) 95% of cases, the country with sword loses and the other wins.
Regarding energy spent:
I agree, you should use as least energy as possible, so lose 20 energy for losing side and 30 for winning. Not 50 to 100. Better put the remaining energy into air battles.
Regarding value in lower divisions:
Except for events with like annihilators, where people drop insane dmg, new lower division players wont ever do siginificant damage. So, I agree.. farm some medals in lower divisions to get the gold and put the rest of energy in air to rank slowly. So I also kinda disagree with staying in lower divisions as long as possible. More like as long as nessecary..?!
This all is of course only my opinion and what I advise new players or recoming players to do on the battlefield. I hope I didnt forget anything 🙂
Great, thanks for sharing your ideas! Adds great value to the whole content.
Regarding 20/30 energy, afaik i think you can’t hit below 35 or 40 energy hits. 40 is the least you can do.

I think you can hit 10 without weapons or using bazookas only. I'd have to look at that again cause I think thats why I was originally doing bazookas before you reached out to me.
You can hit 20. Its just bugged. Sometimes you need to hit the button like 10x before it hits. But it safes energy. .-)
Is it a bug? Then there you go!
Its probably not a "bug". It says its too less energy, but after a few clicks you can hit the 20 energy. 🙂
I can confirm, I chose 20 energy and had to hit the Deploy button 4 times before it worked.
Well done
Nowadays, in the lowest divisions, you can easily earn 140 medals per week and if you play skillfully, you can enjoy this for as long as possible while wasting as little experience per land medals earned as possible. 😉
Right. Also if you even finished your fuels earlier than expected, you can buy a few of them with gold. It will still be profitable or worst break even.
Yeah I think the first fuel is 2, second is 3, and third is 4. The first 2 buys would be profitable to some extent. 😃
Difficult with the events but true, as soon as you’re at div 4 it’s lost or you buy yourself packs, but than you’ve to put affords into this game which you just don’t want
Great job

Great post, v+s!
Have You some general info about weapon choice/use in lower divisions?
Q7? Q1? barehand?
For this particular farming strategy (New comer / division 1), having or not having weapons does not matter a lot imo
Because it’s based on the battles being under-crowded, and you get medals with the least amount of hits/damage/energy.
But using one weapon of any Q, may help you for passing the daily challenge task…
Again, we are focused on the farming aspect here only. If you want to consider fighting for your country, ranks etc. it will be different.
inhale, work, train, bazooka, exhale and repeat
Looks good, the things I do know were added and the comments covered a lot. Thanks for putting this together for everyone.

What is the point of fighting for other countries than your own? I never understood selling your country for some gold...
1. There are allies and alliances & friend countries in this game
2. As mentioned above 90% of the wars are training wars, your country may not have any real battles at a given moment
3. What is the point of getting richer/more famous, making money, getting more powerful, so then you can help your country MORE than a broke soldier? That is the point!
4. If you want to stay in 1 county forever, you can do it as well

great article for newbie out there, they should read this article!

Why do you see battlegrounds with 3 kinds of ground terrains?
i used some images from wikipedia, which might be outdated maybe?
Ahaha yes it was from the terrains event, years and years ago.
😃
it is a great article, can't say i agree with all but i value the effort to be as detailed as possible, Congratulations!
Thank you.
Well, your own game experience is very different than a new comer because of your higher level.
By far, what i tried and asked around from newer people, it’s the most efficient way to start the game and get golds.
Thank you.

My only objection here would be that if you use Bazookas you will increase in experience points at a slower rate thus meaning more time to farm in D1 🙂 .
Having this in mind you can invest 10 Gold for 55 Bazookas which will provide you a total of 165 hits (165 kills).
With the understanding that every 10 Energy in hit will reward you with 1 experience point.
