Below is the newest eUNL Financial Report of November 9, 15h00 eRep time. Last report was two weeks ago, as I have been on holidays. Thank you, Cocoamok, for taking over my duties during that time. This report will cover last week, but I will also highlight the most important events during my holidays.

Most notable are the facts that we had more expenses than usual due to the Romanian invasion of eUNL territory, and that we upgraded UNL Weapons to Q5.

Please note that all information given, with the possible exception of explanations, is public and can be viewed by all eRepublik users.

Justification of movements made/received by the Ministry of Finance
October 29: 20,000 NLG moved from Ministerie van Economische Zak to State Companies. (Reason: Provide cash for wages.)
November 1: 30 G moved from Ministerie van Economische Zak to SOartem. (Reason: Covering costs of defending against RWs.)
November 2: 13,500 NLG moved from Ministerie van Economische Zak to Nationaal_Trainingscentrum. (Reason: Agreed monthly Defense budget.)
November 3: 10 G moved from Ministerie van Economische Zak to Ministerie van Grondstoffen. (Reason: Ministry of Raws was low on gold. Enough gold is needed – amongst other things – to keep the State Companies supplied with raws.)
November 4: Another 10 G was moved from Ministerie van Economische Zak to Ministerie van Grondstoffen.
November 6: 10,000 NLG moved to Nationaal_Trainingscentrum from Ministerie van Economische Zak. (Reason: Covering costs of defending against RWs.)
November 6: 10,000 NLG donated to Soartem, out of Ministerie van Economische Zak. (Reason: Covering costs of defending against RWs.)
November 6: DNB received 6.000 NLG from W Buy and 211.50 NLG from Ministerie van Economische Zak. This money was used to quickly purchase weapons and distribute them over the eUNL soldiers. The costs for the weapons were donated back by W Buy (making them free donations), and the 211.50 NLG covers up for the taxes which went to the state accounts. In the end, the balance on DNB stayed the same.
November 7: 200 G donated to State Companies 2 from the Ministerie van Economische Zak, to enable the upgrade of UNL Weapons (see below).
November 8: 10 G moved from Ministerie van Economische Zak to Ministerie van Grondstoffen.
November 9: All foreign currencies have been donated from the Ministerie van Economische Zak to Ministerie van Grondstoffen, as they are not used in the first mentioned. This concerne😛 108 BGN, 100 MDL, 40 GBP and 40 VEB.

All items moving in and out the organizations DNB and Ministerie van Economische Zak, were weapons, MTs, gifts, etc., donated by our allies and SOartem, and donated to our tanks (players that are good fighters) and other soldiers.

Justification of other actions performed by Ministry of Finance
October 14 – End of October: As suggested by Luuklag, all significant amounts of foreign currencies from the State Accounts have been donated to the Ministry of Raws, to keep it safe from potential attacks. Again, thanks to all congressmembers who where willing to raise a proposal.

News: Financial laws & proposals
October 26 [Accepted] Moving 10,386 NLG from the state accounts to Ministerie van Economische Zak to keep it safe from attacks. Accepted with 28 YES and 0 NO.
November 3 [Accepted] Moving 10,000 NLG from the state accounts to Ministerie van Economische Zak (same reason). Accepted with 33 YES and 4 NO.
October 26 [Accepted] Moving 74 G from the state accounts to Ministerie van Economische Zak (same reason). Accepted with 33 YES and 3 NO.
November 8 [Accepted] Upgrade UNL Weapons to Q5. On the forum, the congress approved the proposal, which can be found at the debating area: http://www.enetherlands.nl/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=3314. The vote passed with 16 YES and 0 NO. A total of 200 GOLD were donated out of DNB to make the upgrade possible.

Additional laws with a financial impact are alliances, as they cost GOLD to establish. A total of three alliances were accepted on October 29, October 30 and November 1.

News: Monetary Market

Exchange rates are currently 1 NLG = 0.016 G and 1 G = 66.5 NLG. These are the exact rates that the government has set as limits, and action will be taken as soon as these limits will be exceeded.
