[DC] The Irish Watchdog

Hello Ireland,
I’m writing this article while being temporary banned in this game, so one of my good friends is going to publish it because I can’t. Before I start my campaign for Dictator I’d like to explain the temporary (3 days) ban I recieved. The reason Admins gave me for my ban was:

“You have used 103425 currency that has originated from multiple accounts to support or provide the Combat Orders for the dictator coup. As a result of that the above mentioned amount has been removed from your account. Please note that if we discover any further illegal activities or illegal funds being used to support the military coups or combat orders more severe measures will be taken.”

I’ve appealed to this decision since there was no way I could know I’m acceping multi money. Anyone on my place would recieve this ban. Admins didn’t accept my appeal since it truly was a multi money. But this is erepublik rule which must be changed. In the time when we needed each IEP and when so many people has been donating money to me I couldn’t simply know which one of this is “dirty”. What should I do? Reject the money coming from a national organisation? I assumed it was a normal money, but it wasn’t. I haven’t created any multiple account nor I managed two accounts in the same time. I just acccepted the money and used it to defend eIreland. To be honest - I would do it again. We have defended ourselves with over 1 500 000 IEP of which 103 000 IEP haven’t been “normal” money. Anyway, I will write a ticked asking Plato to change this rule and punish the citizens which created and administrated multi accounts and not those who accepted the money trusting the source. It just doesn’t make any sense. But, it’s just one of the responsabilities I have when it comes to defending Ireland.






Introduction.


I believe I should be that person. I’m running for a Dictator. There’s many reasons I’m doing it, but first... Let me introduce myself. I’ve started playing this game long time ago, in 2009. First year I’ve been playing in eCroatia and ever since then (with some smaller breakes) I’m in eIreland.

I’ve been fighting here since the times of glorious ICA, in the times when we were fighting UK, when we vote’ed Turkish application to EDEN, when we proudly stood for our brothers in Bulgaria. I was part of building the Irish Army as we know now. I was part of gaining the reputation we enjoy now. I was here when we decided to stick to our allies no matter what. I’m part of Ireland. I’m the first guy foreign leaders are contacting when they want to speak with us. I am Irish connection to eWorld. Not the only one, but definitly I’m the integral part of eIrish community. And I’m proud of it. That’s why I’m playing this game. That’s why I’m protecting eIreland each time we have a trouble. And I will always be here for Ireland. Maybe it’s a bit pretentious, but I believe Ireland would be much worse without me.

I’m asking citizens of Ireland to vote for me on the Dictator elections for a simple reason - I will push the buttons where it’s needed, I will advise the Government and when we face another threat and when Ireland will need a person to lead a country on a battlefield it will be me. I will take care of things.






Dictator Campaign.


I’ve proposed Dictatorship to be the button pusher. It should be only the person which protects us from the foreign Coups when it comes to its role. Of course, Dictator is also Watchdog; it’s someone with many contacts and informations, it’s an active citizen which is ready to react on all the threats we’re going to face. In the times of emergency, in hard times, we’re going to need someone with the best knowledge in this game. Someone who is ready to defend us, someone capable of organising defence, waking up on time to push the button. Dictator is advisor, someone who coordinates the work between two executive bodies in eIreland - Congress and President. Dictator is much more than button pusher and still, its only ingame thing to do is push the button according to game mechanics.

Electing a Dictator must not be a party politics thing. I hope that every citizen of Ireland will vote considering the candidates expirience, activity and knowledge. The Dictator must become someone who is here for a long time, someone trustworthy and someone who has never done anything against eIreland. Dictator is a watchdog. One person which can fight off the enemies. I believe I’ve proved to have all this requirements.





Establishing the Dictatorship.

Last few weeks has been a huge mess for us and I’m sure that without active peoples who fought for Ireland, without Irish friends which donated their money for our defence we wouldn’t have the opportunity to elect our own Dictator. Today we would have 99% VAT taxes, we’d be broke without a chance to gain the money. We wouldn’t be eIreland anymore. I gave my best to protect our democracy and protected them from taking it from us. Now I’ll give my best to keep democracy going in eIreland. I’ll respect what people want. I’ll listen to the Government regardless of who they are. Even if WHS becomes a President and makes some decision I don’t like, but it’s legit thing to do - I would press the button.




Final words


Ireland, today we’re electing a person of trust, person you can rely on. Who would you like to be the Irish Watchdog? I hope I proved I’m the best one for this job. I hope you’re going to vote for me, because frankly, after all this years of fighting, not sleeping and making sure our little but proud country is still on the map - I deserved it. I would be happiest man on the earth if Ireland would show their appreciation to me. As it’s the only thing I want. After this 3 months, I can stop playing and know I did something useful in a game. Preserved the community and made sure it lives. And it will live until the end of the game. Proud, independent and loyal to its allies.
