60 Days of War [EDEN/Fortis]

Like the tittle says, the New World of eRepublik is currently at war. 60 days of war to be exact. Fews weeks ago, many players tought the war was almost over with USA down to one State(Florida) and many countries were wiped off the map (Canada, Spain, North Korea and Switzerland). Three of the biggests alliances are actives in this war, PEACE GC on one side and EDEN/Fortis on the other side. So, for all the citizens who joined the eWorld in last ~~ 40, 30 days, the situation must be really weird and confusing( I started in Quebec, France.. WTF???). Regions and Territories of North America occupied by Russia, Hungary, Portugal and now, even Colombia(Huns/Indo puppies) wants a part of the cookies! This article is a recaps of all what happended since the beginning of the war in details. Ill explain the situation of each country involve, on military and political scene. Everyday, Ill publish an article on a different EDEN/FORTIS country, starting with Canada, followed by USA, Spain and finally, the Allies (Greece, Romania and Croatia).


CANADA

ALLIANCE: FORTIS

That is where everything started. On day 1, PEACE first target was Nova Scotia, Canada, who shared a border with France. Since MPP were still actives from a previous conflict, that was the best place to strike first. After that day, PEACE attacks where almost all succesfulls on Canadian ground. PEI and NFL falls to France. The next target was Nunavut, an High Diamond region under Canadian control. New Brunswick fall to Russia the next day. PEACE launched a massive attack on Quebec on Day 9 of the war. Quebec, who had a Q4 hospital and a Q5 Defense System, was a very important region for E/F because of the massive population living there and the boarder with Ontario, the Canadian Capitale. Unfortunatly, Quebec felt aswell to ennemies at first try. During that time, a resistance war was succesfull in Prince Edward Island, controlled by UK. On day 10, fighting on many fronts, Canadian regain control of Alaska and succed Defending it from Russian attack.

Fews days later, Manitoba and Saskatchewan were lost to France and Canada was down to 6 originales regions. Alberta, the other Q5 hospital region in Canada, also felt to France. Ontario was the only place left for Canadian to heal. One by one, again.. Canadian regions felt between ennemies (France) hands. Northwest-Territories, Yukon and BC were gone. With Spains attacking France in europe, blocking them to attack on Canada, we were able to attack some US regions under Russian control. Since our originals regions were under UK control, we counld'nt attack them without declaring war to UK.

On day 19, Hungary started offensive on Canada by swaping region with UK and attacking Manitoba. Hungary was aiming at USA regions controlled by Canada. On Day 25, France launched a final attack (victoious) on last Canadian region left, Ontario. This was an epic battle with over 17.000 players involves all arround the world. But unfortunatly, Canada was now erased of the map.

But 3 days later, many Resistance wars were started (4 total) in maritime regions, who were controlled by UK ad had less population. Three of the RWs were finally won and Canada reappears on the map on day 28 of the war. Jacobi was still President of Canada. One week later, Canadian regain Nova Scotia with the help of some Americain Tanks. Two main Resistance groups were born during that time, the Bruck's Canucks and the Canadian Resistance Movement. Those 2 groups were very implicated and actives in the RWs all over Canada. Bristish Colmbia was now the next target of Canadian Resistance groups. BC was the last UK held region in America. This RW was also succesfull and few day later, they also won Alberta back from France via RW. Finally, Canada declare war to France and launched a attack on Ontario, who would provide an important economical boost to poor canadian economy . With allies fights also raging in California and Asturia, Ontario was an easy but important win for all Canadians.

Until now, no more region were liberated from ennemies, but Canada played an important role by prevent Russia and Hungary to attack on USA . They launched attacks everyday on both countries to block them and resistances wars to prevent them from retreating.
