Dear citizens of the eNetherlands,

It has been a pretty ordinary month, all things considered. Not all terms can sadly be as exciting as the awesome dual victory of last month, after all. An important month nevertheless it has been for the eNetherlands.

We've seen some interesting shifting dynamics in our domestic arena. A historic party of the eNetherlands had been kicked out op the so-called ''Top 5'' - and hence Congress - due to illicit means, only for the perpetrators to be swiftly punished. A fresh Chairman of Congress has been elected, after ElGorro returned from a long hiatus to the post, after the previous candidates were refused by Congress not once, but twice. And a first step has been taken in following up on our financial health, both for the Government and its citizens, that obviously will see further refinement in the future (Work Tax, anyone?!).

Something that may be less apparent is that more and more we're becoming a relatively big player in the international arena. Whilst not yet to the degree of beating super powers like Turkey, Greece or Croatia, our support is effective even if it only consists of Airstrikes to scare off enemies. As a result, on several occasions we've been helpful in the so-called Liberation of India by our Asteria allies from the Code enemy.

Just a few days ago, the situation looked promising for yet again a return to our lost brothers in South Africa. In a bid to remove Code presence from South Africa, we launched an AirStrike on Uruguay. Some uncomfortable development since - the massive war Macedonia had with Croatia, or the troubles with Hungary in their cores fighting against Asteria - has set the operation on loose screws however and Code is determined to stop us from attempting to land. Nevertheless, the Netherlands is itching for a fight, and we'll see how the current situation with Uruguay will develop in the following hours/days. We, as always, remain committed to the cause of Orion, Hydra and Asteria o7.

With the month of February starting, hopefully including some nice Valentine events again similar to the Christmas ones, and an overly qualified Country President to lead the nation - the only way for the eNetherlands is up!
