As eJapan's June 2022's unopposed candidate, my Presidency was ordained, not earned.

I chose my Ministers as I saw fit and each acted in accordance to their roles to the very best of their abilities. I was blessed with a diligent, dedicated team of players, ergo, eJapan has thrived. One chose to leave before the term ended for his own reasons, outlined here and here and although the parting was not amicable, I wish him the best in his future ventures here in eJapan and with the Guild of Free Journalists.

Since I was new to the whole concept of Country Administration I asked Suujuki to return back to eJapan from the Holy Land and act as my Minister of Defence and Senior Advisor and he did so without hesitation. He seen a player who needed help, and he helped me. Simple as that. I'm glad to confirm Dioism is still alive and well.

We survive into July thanks to the diplomatic efforts of eJapanese patriots like the formidable BOZIMANO ROXY and fastidious Fyreous as well as all of the active, beautiful citizens of eJapan. I'd go into more detail but my office does not allow me to express my own personal views, only that of eJapans citizens as the democratically elected President so I'll put it this way; eJapan owes a debt of gratitude to these two players, that much I can say with absolute concrete certainty and conviction.

I never thought I'd be a CP, although I often sought to be. Sure why play a Political Sim if you don't wanna be top dog? After this Month, that naivety has been drained straight out of me. Play eRep long enough and you'll find out why no one in their right mind would want a CP position. Although that may sound nihilistic or even nefarious to some, my intentions as President were and always will be, in any political capacity, idealistic. Fair is fair etc. I've always thought to live is to serve but move the needle and sure enough the song suddenly changes. To serve is to live. An ugly concept in a game as flat-line boring as this. eRep is not worthy of it's own community.

As a flagrant, unrepentant outsider type of player an eNation would have to be rudderlessly insane to nominate me, never mind actually vote me in. But ara sure here we are, it was an interesting experience, all in all. The banter was fun on Discord until it wasn't. Waking up at 7am because your mate wants to play on the swings is childish, retrograde behaviour in a normal adults life but on eRep it's Tuesday.

Think on that.

Japan remains financially sound and J.U.D.O is into it's 36th week
(although the program's future is uncertain at this time)

1.5m cc profit from MM so far this term. And the Gold market bubble still hasn't popped yet. Interesting times.

I want to thank Metehan for his service to eJapan by acting as eJapans shrewd economic steward and one of it's most veracious political voices, even with his RL time constraints. If you wanna know more about eJapan's wheeling and dealing, ask Metehan.

Just don't say his name aloud three times.

Joking, of course. Any and all information is freely available upon request.

All jokes aside, I've had enough of Government, self imposed censorship is not my style so for now, all other in game enquires should be sent to either Fyreous or Suujuki, my in game mentors. I've learned a lot this term. Arigato. For now though, I'm too dog tired from RL work and now, starting a second Novel, this game just isn't that important to me right now. The friends I made along the way are however, so I'll keep in touch.

Regarding Jinmin Sensen: The last week was the last week. All that pressure, it's just physics, something was bound to happen. I regret how it was handled but I can't turn back the clock. I'd like to be able to reveal my own perspective but again my position (however fleeting) won't allow.
Hippopotamus oath and all.

Again, a huge thank you to all my Ministers, I couldn't have done it with out yis'.

As for the July Election, Japan is in safe hands whether it's Fyreous or Metehan running the show. A word of caution to anyone who is still reading down this far, be they a Tank or a Minnow, a Dioist or Clinically Sane, play the game too much and it'll start to play you.

So that's it. Sayonara for now Japan, I'll post up the Winners of the Summer Haiku Contest when I get the chance, the 6th at the latest. I don't wanna clog up the National Feed.

If I don't hear from yis' enjoy your Summer guys n' gals!
