[Casus Belli] Circle of Trust

For a long time, I was writing only about battle reports and nothing more. I have skipped few reports cause of no time problem, but right now I have inspiration and will to write more and more. This article wont be about battles at all, but about new alliance called Circle of Trust.



Y-day was announced that a new Alliance is born and now it is for real. Members of this alliance are Bulgaria, Chile, Switzerland, New Zealand, South Korea, Peru and Paraguay

But why exactly is this alliance formed? First of all, when Bulgaria left EDEN, it was well known that there will be no chance for us to take leading word in ONE, as we were just proONE country and nothing more. That was not in our favor, as we are one of the strongest proONE countries.

Bulgaria wanted to have leading role and since we left EDEN, we had need to make something new similar to Terra in EDEN. Perhaps CoT will be more independent than Terra?

But what are real Bulgarian gains with this alliance? If you ask me, we are only loosing by making this alliance. Half of these countries are almost dying, we have no strong supporter, and we will have to carry out the burden of our brothers. They all have stronger enemy bordering country, and will be as they are now constantly attacked by their foes from EDEN.

If we are going to defend them, and if we are going to stay in a cage here in Europe, then this is not going to finish up pretty good. ONE might just ignore us in the times when we get attacked by Turkey, alongside all members of CoT being attacked by their enemies.

We need at least one more strong member in this alliance. I personnaly would like to see India in it, but sadly India is also dead like many countries in eRep. I also dont know why Russia didnt join, it would be good to have them in this alliance because of their geo-political position.



Heres some inf about countries involved in this alliance:

Switzerland

Switzerland is European country bordered by: France, Germany, Austria, and Italy.

It has 4 regions and population of 349 citizens. On last CP elections there was total of 106 votes. Curent CP of Switzerland is Patar333

Switzerland has following resources:
Cattle: Romandie, Svizzera italiana
Fruits: Graubunden
Iron: Deutschschweiz

With only 3 resources available, Switzerland is one poor country and very unstable. It was PTO-ed dozens of times before, and now is attacked by Croatians who are trying to escape from ONEs hand.

Chile

Chile is South American country bordering Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and New Zealand.

It has 5 original regions and population of 7449 citizens. On last CP elections there was 729 votes which makes only 10% of total population. Chile has no congress. Curent CP of Chile is Alain Echeverria

Chile has following resources:
Saltpeter: Norte Grande
Iron: Northe Chico
Deer: Zona Central
Fish: Zona Sur, Zona Austral

We can see that Chile has 4 resources, from wich 2 are precious, but it has 2 occupied regions and is having problems with direct link to capital rule.

Chile will have constant problem with this rule, as they are having one hard foe at their borders - Argentina. Also, as you can see on the map, Chile is occupying a long, narrow coastal strip. It means that Argentina can easily cut Chilean resources by attacking one region below or above capital. Other regions become useless like they dont belong to Chile.

New Zealand
New Zealand is located in the southeastern hemisphere bordering Chile, Australia.

New Zealand has 4 original regions and population of 487 citizens. On last Cp elections there was total of 182 votes. Curent CP of New Zealand is E.L.E.A.N.O.R..

New Zealand has following resources:
Iron: Canterbury, Otago
Deer: Wellington
Grain: Auckland

We can see that New Zealand is having same problems like Chile as they are having Argentina on their back. New Zealand is also one unstable country like Switzerland, cause we all know that it was rules by Serbs, for a long time. I was not active for a year, so I dont know who exactly is leading New Zealand, but when I find out, I`ll update this.
South Korea

South Kora is East Asian country which has 9 original regions. It is bordering China, Russia, North Korea, Japan and Taiwan. It has total of 878 citizens. On last Cp elections there was 199 votes. SK has no congress. CP of South Korea is Szkudlar

South Korea has following resources:
Grain: Gyeonggi-do, Chungcheongnam-do, Jeollabuk-do, Jeju
Iron: Gangwon-do, Chungcheongbuk-do, Gyeongsangbuk-do
Aluminium: Jeollanam-do, Gyeongsangnam-do

South Korea is in very bad position. With small population and only 3 regions liberated this country can live as long as we help them. But thats not just natural. Their existence depends on us. Its like to have a plant on Mars, is can live as long as humans give it oxygen and food, but it would die soon, without humans help. Btw, who was that much smart to name South Korean regions like this?! I though Indian regions were hard to spell, this is nuts!

Paraguay

Paraguay is South American country which consist of just 2 orignal regions. Its bordering Brazil, Argentina, and Bolivia.

Total population is 1362 and on last CP elections there was total of 178 votes. Like any other CoT country, Paraguay has no congress. CP is Lezcano

Paraguay has following resources:
Deer: Central East Chaco
Cattle: Paranena

Like every other CoT country, Paraguay is easy pray for South American predators, Brazil and Argentina. Under our hand, they all united against those 2 countries, but can they win this?

Peru

Peru is alsto South American country which consist of total 7 original regions. It borders Colombia, Brazil, Argentina and Chile.

Total population is 4183 and on last CP elections there was just 73 votes. Peru has no congress. CP is c p enrique

Peru has following resources:
Iron: Great Andes, Low Andes
Fish: Lima, Mid Andes, Chimor
Oil: Northern Low Amazon, Southern Low Amazon

Peru was before top target for European countries, for having some high resources. There was Croatian PTO going on for some time before, but now its different. Peru is one country with such low active population and Brazil use it almost like its own ground. Peru secured congress for July.



Countries of Circle of Trust decided to form new Military Unit called Mobile Forces of CoT.

Supreme Commander of CoT will also be Commander of this Unit and it will consist of soldiers from Divisions 2, 3 and 4. There will be 30 soldiers for each division. MU will have to be very active, so they would be able to assist in important battles for their new alliance.

It might be much, but its less than alone Serbia can do. And its about 1/8 of total damage of ONE or EDEN. Thats not enough, not at all.
