Extra Tanks for AMPlifiers

If you're a member of AMP that doesn't spend much time on the forums, you may not realize that we have two programs set to help members: the Guns for Buns (of bread) program which gives members food, and the AMP Tanks Program which gives members three tanks each day.

Together with Malarkey83, our Retention Director, we will be giving an extra two tanks (therefore five total) to any AMP member that comments on the AMP Tanks Program thread and this article on Sunday, October 20th.

First, comment here on the article. As Malarkey noted in the comments, you can comment today and reference it tomorrow in your request for tanks and still be eligible for the extras. Next, go to the AMP Tanks Program thread here, post a WW2 era picture, and note that you commented on the article. Do this today for three tanks, but tomorrow make sure you say that you commented here and you'll get the extras... Malarkey and/or I will crosscheck and make sure you get your five tanks.

Interview with Napalm Norm


I sat down for a nice meal with Napalm Norm to ask him a few questions

Napalm Norm is the current Communications Director for AMP. As a member of the party, you've probably received messages from him notifying you of important party announcements.

Sarah: Approximately how many AMPs would you say you feel?

Napalm Norm: On average I think I feel around 81 AMPs a day but that might be a gross understatement.

Sarah: What change(s) would you like to see in the party by the start of next term?

Napalm Norm: I'd love to see our party doing more to help new players and get them involved early on in the "meta" aspects of the game. Its a great way to keep boosting our numbers and starting to develop new party leaders.

Sarah: Would you rather fight one horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses?

Napalm Norm: I'm assuming its hand to hand combat, so I think I'd have to go with the horse-sized one, that swarm might be too much to deal with. But good thing its not geese, I'd rather die than have to fight a pack of geese.

Sarah: What makes AMP the sexiest party?

Napalm Norm: You know I want to say because I'm in it, but that is definitely not true. Everyone knows its cause we have Saraht0ga.

Sarah: What song would you like to dedicate to AMP in the next "Toga Party" radio show?

Napalm Norm: "Rooster" - Alice in Chains. I'll be listening in for sure.

Sarah: What would you say to a citizen who's thinking about joining us in AMP?

Napalm Norm: Do it. Honestly your missing out on some great friendships and amazing opportunities but not checking us out.



Retention is AMPing Up

As you can tell from the first section of this article, Malarkey83 is already working hard to implement programs to both benefit and entertain our members. The AMPlified Honors voting has closed, but hopefully we'll find out soon who the winners of that are.

And, coming in the next week, will be a new contest open to everyone.

I won't say exactly what it involves (I'll leave that to Malarkey), but make sure to keep an eye out for news from our Retention Department.

Congress Sign-ups will transition to Congress Voting very soon. Pay attention to the forum to make sure you vote for who you think is best suited to represent AMP in congress.
