Make friends and influence people. Keep your ear to the ground (and your ass in the air? hmm).

Do I have to point out how important to the eUSA and to your game experience and enjoyment social interaction with fellow eUSA players especially RL not ‘mercans is?
Nope, you get it.

Discord, familiar to you tech-savvy social media users seems to be the platform of choice for conversation here in the eUSA. I have seen Telegram,mentioned (I don’t know what that is) and enpr programs on Twitch. There are forums, eUSA and Feds come to mind. There are surely more platforms and forums and facebook pages that I am unaware of. Seek them out. Participate.

And now I confess.
I was in eRepublik 8 or10 years ago. Many things have changed. I started a new account because I have forgotten the old email I used for games (something... @MSN.com). I wrote this series as I worked through the steps, hoping I would make less assumptions than some new player guides I remember. You can judge. Perhaps you would comment below on any lapses you find and I will edit them in.



I have completely failed at this communication step. Every entry port to Discord is blocked because I already have a Discord account under my game email and I am too timid and too ignorant to get the proper invitations (so sez my digital systems consultant). The eUSA forum will not send me the authorization email (neither will the RL bloody State of Oregon, so par for the course). The old IRC system is gone I assume and I would need to be taught again how to use a client (Froggy?) .

Ahem.

My advice to myself and to you; if you find yourself stymied by something reach out to fellow players. Most people are kind. Most people are willing to be helpful. Find a friend or two.

I ask for corrections, questions and comments from you the readers.
