Thoughts on: The Air "Division" and Fuel for War

So,
the post-day-5000 update had two changes. one that I really like and another that I don't like. Both could use some tweaking.
I also have a suggestion to expand the division system even more to help new/low strength players.

1. The Air Divion
Instead of having an air round every four rounds at best, even less in practise (I'd say it could be about 2/9th to 1/5th being air rounds), Air is now its own kind of division in the normal framework.
This causes one issue: less air epics. While air rounds have been quadrupled or even quintupled and an SH is worth 1/3 of what it used to be, air epic damage is the same, with 15M damage. That's the only issue I have with this change.
Air epics are now way less likely to happen. Air epics are extremely important for players in countries that can't afford epics every week, have low strength and want to focus on air or players like myself who have been displaced out of their Legend+TP country due to a wipe.
DECREASE THE BASE EPIC DAMAGE FROM 15M to 5M.
2. Fuel
This is the worst update I witnessed since starting to play this game in 2010. Period.
It does the one thing, a game developer should never do: It punishes players for playing the game.
It wouldn't be neccessary with just some of the suggested changes from my last article that could make TWs more expensive, collectively for a country.
There are two ways, the fuel system could be improved to allow players for some wiggle room to play more freely.
Possility 1: Change it from 70 per week to 10 per day with a max storage of 200. Fuel prices are reset every week but stored fuel is obviously carried over. The same amount of fuel as now, with more freedom on how you want to play the game.
Possibilty 2: Let us produce fuel instead.
The productivity should be the average of the country's 4 resources, the fuel factory is placed in.
You need an economy to wage war to produce fuel to have an economy to wage war and so on. Not some pay2play/pay2win BS.
Need fuel for war? Start a war for fuel.
To simplify it, it shouldn't require Raw material and processing, it's all done in one go. There should be only one Quality purshased for 50 Gold each and it should produce 0.03 X Productivty per WaM work. So let's say about 0.05 in reality, at 50cc per WaM, that's 50cc / 0.05 = 1000cc per unit of fuel.
Reasonably expensive but it doesn't feel like a ripoff.
Players who don't want to focus on the military (maybe because they are week/new), can produce fuel instead. Also, a lot of gold would've been removed building those fuel plants.
3. Expanding The Division System
Terrain Types should make a comeback.
Players should be able to place up to 50k strength in a wide number of terrain types. Terrain should be the 5th ground division awarding 5 points per round and 5 Gold for the BH. Damage is unaffected by Legend-bonuses. The points for the air division should be increased to 10 in order to maintain the relative importance of the air division. The points needed to win a campaign should be increased to 220.
The terrain division should use the same "base" epic damage as D1. In order to not turn it into the "bomb division", the 5th division should have a 5x damage multiplier. One could also think of a "Terrain Fighter" kind of medal rewarding 1000cc per 100kk damage.
The fuel per week should be increased to 85 (better 100 to have a consise number) in order to compensate for the extra divsion.
Presidents can set the order of terrains for battles fought in their country's core regions but have to choose at least 5 different ones, terrains can't repeat in the next 3 rounds. No matter who are attackers/defenders are. That gives their citizens kind of a home advantage and is the most logical way of setting it. I don't think that the attacker should choose the geography of a region, nor the defender when it's not their land they're defending.
It helps new/weak players and makes players more flexible on the ground as they're not held down in this divison due to a lack of Legend bonuses. Either because they're outside their Legend country or have no Legend rank.
Additionally, this change would mean that 15 out of 26 points per round are not affected by the broken Legend bonus, meaning you can now effectively fight as merceneary and directly help your allies big time.
Also, the possibility of using it strategically to get a home advantage on home turf achieves some balance as it's easier defend, disrupt occupier-TWs, region rotations or kick occupiers out.

Finaĺly no more stealing from weaker players in lower divs.
There should now be a special decoration "medal of shame " for every medal they got in a lower div.
And all the players with more than 20k BH medals. (Like Marcel for example) can stop now this stupid endless gold farming .

Yeah, that's kinda nice until you realize low div players can't make a lot of gold due to their weekly hardcap being extremely low. Just 140 Gold per week for D1 players while air players can get 700

I think this update is aimed at countering bots and scripts as those are (usually) likely to hit in a lot of battles per day and make inefficient use of their "fuel". Also hit-giving by low-div bots and other kinds of multi-accounts is now severely limited.
Most importantly, players are held back from excessively farming in TWs and you have more chances outside your legend turf,
well thats not the point i wanna say,normally they wont send all thay have in same round,they will doze cause now all bots at least 4000 ice cream,and thats a lot,and plus they have strong titans in d4 so how to compare with that,and nubers of bot is thousands,in think you can see my point

Introducing fuel in deployments is the best change in recent years. This change is opposed by those who accustomed to wage countless wars whose only purpose is farming. With this change, the game was given a chance to look more like a strategy, and I don't understand such intense opposition to it.
Fuel, as it is, is killing the game for active players.
I’ve never cheated or used bots, I am paying my packs, and yet I am encouraged not to play because of the 70 fuel limit.
At least they should have thought about a regen, with fuel adding by 1 every hour or two.

We will see if air epics need less damage in less than a week. I certainly hope so. If not, a change in the Epic formula for air battles would indeed be called for.
I would also fully support bringing back terrains in some way, shape, or form.
A rework to the fuel system on the lines you propose would work fine I think.
Since, this is mostly aimed at low div hitters and hitbots, I think it's time to get rid of the division system. Replacing it with terrains would seem a good replacement.
One of rules of good trade is listen to the proposition of cuatomers. If majority of your customers say to you, that you should make some changes in your buissnes to keep them buying your product . . . than you should realy listen to them and make that changes.
Fuel production is maybe best solution of this problem, but admins get alergies when they hear somthing about improvment of economy modul

Fuel system made one thing right. The BH hoarders cannot do it anymore. That means, more even distribution of gold amongst the players!!
When had terrain battles before it didn't help new/weak players - instead players with MP got most of the BHs with a few Bazooka hits.
Fuel rule should help weak players in that the strong players will be much more limited in how many battles they can fight.
I expect MP sales to plummet.
And damage for air epic should be coming down - I think the formula is supposed to be based on average damage over some number of days - I think it is 7 days but not certain.
Why expanding the division system?
Should be done the opposite.

Since the changes came i managed to get my 36th, 37th and 38th Battle hero medal.
I see the gold is going up and up and i see that gold will be a no buy for the poor in the game so best to buy....silver, copper or bronze or none.
The 37500 players are sure to disappear by this time next year with aprox. 28000 remain this time next year and with a very rare amount of new and poor players playing the game.
In the long run if all goes well we will still be playing this game for about 2 years.

As an air player, I love the permanent air rounds. The fuel sistem doesn't impact me directly since I dont use packs anyway, and 70 fuels are more than enough.

You think they didn't realize that what was killing the game and limiting the entry of new players was not the unlimited farming, where some players even boasted of earning 3,000 medals per month. Those players know (they have the numbers) that they did not buy the packs with real money but with game tokens.
80% or 90% of the players will benefit, mainly those of the air module.
Some tanks that buy packs with real money will suffer, especially those that use Maverick. Yes probably. But the recent changes make me think that the game still has a life ahead of it.

Ustedes creen que ellos no se dieron cuenta que lo que estaba matando el juego y limitando el ingreso de nuevos jugadores no era el farming ilimitado, donde algunos jugadores incluso se jactaban de ganar 3000 medallas por mes. Esos jugadores ellos saben (tienen los numeros) que no compraban los packs con dinero real sino con tokens del juego.
El 80% o 90% de los jugadores se van a ver beneficiados, principalmente los del modulo aereo.
Algunos tanques que compran packs con dinero real se veran perjudicados, sobre todos los que usan Maverick. Si probablemente. Pero los cambios recientes me hacen pensar que todavia al juego le queda alguna vida mas por delante.
