To state the obvious, the coalition likely to win the upcoming Presidential election has supported a candidate with a regressive voting record. The coalition itself lacks a clear and meaningful platform.

That ostensibly left-wing parties (and the old guard that guide them) would endorse such a candidate speaks to a mirroring of reality: the center of balance in American politics leans catastrophically to the right.

There is no bold vision in the upcoming administration. You'll get what you vote for.
