Once upon a time.. there was but a handful of us Greeks, who took on mighty eTurkey fighting without success for months on end for liberation. The Serbs then chose to side with the more powerful Turks and fough against us, crushing all the RWs we opened. The ones who stood by our side were the Romanians, the Croats and the Americans, who practically liberated eGreece. This is the main reason that eGreece stands firm on EDEN's side until today.
The admission of FYROM into the game, with the stolen name "Macedonia" was a development that united the community of Greeks. We took a stand against this and a large number of Greeks and other international player voiced our protests en mass, against the wishes of those who falsify our history and claim Greek sovereign lands. Despite that, no vote was ever opened on this issue. Instead, what the admins chose, was to put the universally accepted name of this state FYROM in brackets, and to allow the slav nationalists to use the name Republic of Macedonia. To this day, the efyromians publish articles that depict parts of Greece in maps of their country, without ever being penalised. And eVardarska has been a staunch ally of eSerbia.
Time passed and the issue of Kossovo came up. Is it going to be entered as independenet e-state, or a part of Serbia. E-Greeks know history and despite being on opposite alliances for years, despite that Serbian brothers never supported us in our issue with FYROM and the admins, we supported this historical truth. 58% of us voted that Kossovo is a part of Serbia, in what appears to have been a decisive factor for Serbia's interests, in an extremely close vote as it turned out. Your reward to us, eSerb friends, was to immediately attack eGreece, something that happened for the FIRST time, even though we had been in opposite alliances before.
eGreece used to be a community 58% proSerb, but now has become 100% your enemy. In the end of the day, with such calculated opportunism as you have shown, it is my opinion that you well deserve allies such as the Turks.

Maybe you know real history, but you dont know e -history. You fight for Croats against eSerbia, you was on thair side from bigining of eSerbia.
In that time eSerbia was >50 players...
and one more thing you try to attack us before few months and we close borders dont change facts.

Not all serbs are pro turks. They need some time to wake up. Unfortunately, till then we will have a lot of disappointment.

Yes, sometimes we do use tranlator but when translating from Macedonian but for Croatian or Bosnian we don't need it ever and we are not on their side. So I don't understand your point...
Anyway this is a game where alliances change and we are enemies and we have been enemies for as long as I play.In RL on the other hand I would never do anything that is against Greece and I as most Serbs (I think) consider Greece as one of Serbia Best friends (not that we have many tho).

you forgot the fact that greece signed serbia as NE some period before voting about status of Kosovo and Metohija in eRepublik. that's why i can't blame some players that can see greece as serbian NE.
but, at the other hand, i can't accept that we are allies with turkey who voted for independent Kosovo in 83%.
my party is trying to make better relations with greek players and we want people of greece to know that they have brothers in us. but you must also know that process of serbia and greece getting closer in this game needs some tome and good diplomatic strategy from both sides.

You attacked us (for the first time in our common history) in September.
You're fighting for Croatia since the day Serbia has been introduced into the game, a lot of your older tanks (don't know if they're playing still) tanked huge damage back then to keep us occupied under Croatia.
I also remember Greek Battle Heroes in all those epic V1 battles for Slavonia... on Croatian side, of course.
So, I don't really understand what's your problem.
Someone who plays this game that much should at least things out as they are....
Greece is the one that attacked Serbia. Also this reminds me when Serbia was trying to liberate its own regions. Guess who fought on Croatian side?
In the end I don't make friends based on their nationality here(or even try to make some friendships) but like Oboj said not all people in Serbia(or any other country) think same or ever will so chill ; )

I remember v1 and our attacks on croatian region of Slavonia. Time is 3 AM, battle alredy decided in Croatian fawour, without any chanse for us Serbs to move the wall, thanks to Croatian 14 MPPs. And then, in 3 AM, in decided battle, Greek ELITE comes to Slavonia to tank agenst Serbia, with no reason at all, pure waist of damage. But to tank for Croatia agenst Serbia. So, why should I have you on our side?
We are friends in RL, I love you in RL, but why shouldn't we play game on oposite sides? This is like football or basketball. We are competing, and it's fun.

And I am very grateful for that, because this is a real life problem (like Cyprus, isn't it).
But everything else is just a game, and we are still playing it, aren't we?

I don't get why all this huslle.. We are (unforunately) on different alliances so it is inevitable that we will fight each other. But that does not change the fact that Greeks and Serbs are very close irl, It's excactly like Optimus Prajm aka jebpreprv stated above, we plaagaimste each other like in sports but that doesn't make us enemies irl.
As for Kosovo and Metohia, although truth shined, it was unfortunate that many EDEN players voted against eSerbia based on in game status. The majority of eGreeks did not, we voted for historial truth and we are proud of it!
