eRomania -- Back to square one
Stoich
eRomania's campaign in the Balkans has come to an end. Their tanks sank near Marmara yesterday to mark an end to what will be remembered as an Epic Defeat.
Only a day after eRomania celebrated vocally the victory in Marmara thanks to a last minute tanking effort which cost them an arm and a leg, eBulgaria counterattacked and wrestled the region from their grasp, putting an end to eRomania's ill advised gamble in the Balkans. Once again a tremendous and costly tanking effort was done, this time however the eRomanian field-marshals fell short.
So what can said of the whole campaign of eRomani which has been the opening to a new world war. It's objectives were to erase eBulgaria from the map, thus opening the path to eTurkey, and opening a route to eSerbia's less defended sout serbia region. To start an offensive together with eGreece and erase eTurkey from the map, and opening a path towards eIran and the Indian peninsula. And ambitious plan some may say, but I think a strategic blunder which will have far reaching consequances for the whole EDEN alliance.
Not only did eRomania suffer a humiliating defeat twice in their attempt to take Sofia, but they have now been beaten back to their own borders after spending a huge amount of resources. In addition this little escapade has meant that eBulgaria, formerly a neutral country has now joined PHOENIX coalition and opened a clear route to Bucuresht. It has isolated eGreece in it's war against eTurkey by forcing eGreece to go on the offensive and activating eTurkeys MPPs to cover their offensive.
The result 1 week after this costly escapade, is that eCroatia, eRomania and eGreece are surrounded by enemy countries with no hope of retrieve if those same countries decide to go on the offensive, worst of all they can choose their targets at will. So now it will be up to eUSA to make a choice to continue their own campaign in Asia or to come and save their allies on the Balkans.
eBulgaria and POENIX alliance should thank their best ally in this opening of the new world war for handing them on a plate such an easy victory and solidifying their position in the region. It will not be an overstatement that eRomania has been their best ally so far, by virtually isolating most top EDEN countries one from another.
The question now is not if, but when will eRomania have to fight a life or death fight for it's own Capital and territory and pay for their transgressions, and weather eUSA will be willing to try and bail them out, even as they were deserted by their allies earlier, and now have been forced to abandon their own objectives to go save them.

шедьовър! глас и от мене.
надявам се сега турците да се възползват от активираните си MPP-та, да напънат гърците и да застращат Central Greece. тогава американците наистина ще трябва да зарежат азиатските си забежки и да идват да спясяват положението
Voted!
Вот + Съб, браво за статията. 🙂
Яка статия...
Kudos to the eSerbian citizens as well!

Hmm, no I disagree. I don't see no losers, only winners 🙂
For starters, consider this scenario: Romania had to fight 4 of the biggest countries in the eWorld. On paper, the difference exceeds 2 million damage points.
Yet we got close to conquering Bulgaria ( which had to be done to erase those mpps from our back ) and even conquered a region defended by almost the entire former PEACE/Phoenix alliance. (Marmara)
Now, do you really, really believe that our plan was to make it to China? 😃 ( Not like I have anything against that, we did it once 😛 )
Romania was never credited with the chance to win anything and yet the results speak for themselves.We have regained our power, many older players resumed playing and we even have a decent population growth nowadays.
This can also be said about Bulgaria, you got some population growth, you were really active and you are now even dreaming about starting an invasion of your own. 😛
I say, why not, come. 🙂 If anything, we aren't scared that we may lose our virtual gains.
P.S.: We really didn't spend that much in tanking 🙂
"weather eUSA will be willing to try and bail them out, even as they were deserted by their allies earlier, and now have been forced to abandon their own objectives to go save them."
Wait, what, were do you get this info?
EDEN works as an alliance, the defense of its members puts more weight than any offensive plans one country may have.
GO BULGARIA
nice article Stoich 😛
@Jon_the_Brave
"The truth is in the eye of the beholder"
During the whole campaign you won only 3 battles on the battlefield and all at great expense. In Marmara as the numbers show, you fought mostly the civilian population (10K fights vs 2K fights).
You obviously have more older and stronger players/accounts and experience which helped you get as far as you did. However it's clear that your strength is at best staying the same while your opponents are gaining all the time. In that respect this strategic setback might not be that important to you right now, but the same blunder in the future might be costly.
Oh and by the way, it's not about eGains, it's about playing the game and having fun doing it.
John_the_Brave, I'll have an article on the topic today.
BTW I'm very glad we have such a friendly and reasonable Romanian player commenting in our media. Keep it up - it's good to exchange opinions even across the front line.
The article I promise😛

Страхотна статия, отдавна не се беше срещал играч с това ниво да направи подобен разбор на ситуацията и да обхаване не само нашата позиция !!!!
John_the_brave: As we said a couple of times - a BIG THANKS to eRomania, for having spent so much for their "beloved" neighbors of eBulgaria 🙂 You really made us proud of ourselves 🙂 Our newbies are growing, we have been accepted into Phoenix for no time and we had the best fun ever since eBulgaria is on the map 😛 You may not have the intention to win and you just moved a bit of your old bones but it was a pleasure seeing you "not tanking". I really believe that this is the beginning of a great friendship 😉
@Stoich
Romania was given a choice: to have a slow death by boredom or tempt the fate with a bold campaign that was credited by everyone as 'Mission Impossible'. On long term we have really nothing to lose from this. (It is a sad fact, but sooner or later, countries from Eastern Europe won't be able to keep up with the rate of 'new borns' from the West/USA or from Russia. That is, sooner or later, neither Romania, Hungary , Serbia, or even Bulgaria will have any impact on the worlds hierarchy. So why not do the 'impossible' now when we still can 😉 )
'It's about playing the game and having fun doing it.'
@Grakulan Thanks 😛
@bimba: 😁
Of course we tanked to reduce the difference ( as someone pointed out, between 10k players and 70k 😛 ). And yes, this war really helped you on long term like it helped us 🙂.
But again what good is gold if we wouldn't use it? It isn't a hard choice if you put in the balance fun and a quickly regenarable 'resource'.
That being said, I was never a fan of this particular war..
