Nafpaktos is one of the many choises.
A small town, near the sea and with many mountains, better known as Oreini Nafpaktia (Mountainous Nafpaktia) with many villages and great nature places where you can do many extreme sports. Nafpaktos is half an hour away from the city of Patras.

You can go to Crete whichever city you want (Chania, Rethimnon, Iraklion and last but not least Lassithi .

There are many boat trips that last about 2 hours on which you can see some historical islands of crete.
You can do many things and you can see many places in Crete, but you need time.
if you want a city with many graphical places and great beauty I would recommend you Chania, but the choice is yours.
Do some more google search to select which town you prefer but wherever you go i guarantee that every year you will come to greece!!!

One more place to check out is Messinia! It combines beautiful Ionian Sea beaches with the mountainous parts of Peloponnesus ! Especially if you gonna come here with a car, you will have plenty chances to visit Messiniaki Mani,Methoni,Koroni,Pylos and Polylimnio of course !

Suggestion - Avoid staying in a big complex hotel/town! Preferably you can stay in a cozy small hotel or Appartment in order to have it as your main base for explorations !

v+s Coming from Bulgaria, I strongly recommend Thasos Island, which located very close to Kavala (less than 1 hour by ferry from mainland) and I believe it combines beautiful nature and nice beaches.
