Join the new world

i think the reason why i haven't written any articles is because i like to make them nice and presentable and i don't really feel like doing that lately. anyways, here's the stuff i typed out in the welcome message proposal so the majority of our active players would see it when they voted, plus some additional stuff (this is going to be very disorganized):

-we can't recover hamgyong right now (chinese put hospital there + they have to give it back via rw due to mpp/no retreat rules now = we're at their mercy on the return of the region)

-no war games with chinese for now (because of european/russian theater)

-inquiring about the venezuela/colombia war games since i know how bad it sucks to live/own a food/weapon business here right now

-we eliminated of one of the four parties to make ato easier (thank you meifawan and co., only reason it happened was because you all worked together and acted effectively). some say this is undemocratic, but i say it's necessary. less bad candidates to block out now, and the party that removed was financed by a russian or serbian several months ago, so no citizen lost any money.

-due to no wars, demand for currency is low and so the exchange rate hasn't really been able to find a good equilibrium.

-the ministry of foreign affairs published some articles. read them and laugh.

-the ministry of labor purchased the low-skill food company. it already has food in it's backstock just in case we somehow have shortages when we finally get war.

-the admins said that military skills would be singled-down to strength again and the weapon abilities would be sorted out by early this week. obviously that didn't happened, and so still nothing has been done with the people's army.

-donation proposals are going well. even one of the polish (lonewanderer) and an unkown guy (boseu) got in on the act and made proper proposals, so i'm very happy about that.

-doing my best to make the four presidential proposals every day. the proposal database gets out of sync some days though and the proposals don't pass/fail until after it re-syncs, so it keeps messing with the consistency of the proposal times.

-i'll get around to writing the new citizen message sometime soon. it's not a high priority item but it needs to be done.

-since i took over the bank, we've added about 200 gold in reserves from currency sales.
