Hello eWorld,
here we are with the 4th International Press Review, brought to you by the Guild of Free Journalists (GFJ).
We are happy to see that this project is having quite a good success. This couldn’t have been possible without your support and your help in sharing our news.

Before letting you know the last information from the eWorld, just some communications.

In order to improve and bring to you better news, we are looking for partners that could help us in collecting information from nations where we don’t have a National Section. It could be a great help and, as you can see below, it won’t take you too much time to provide a short report. Anyone interested to help can contact the General Chairman or the publisher of this article.

We are proud of our newly opened National Sections of eBrazil and eJapan. Their National Delegates, Tom Holland
and Saito Himura are at the disposal of the citizens that want to know more.

Our thank you also to Visor of Blades and Fenoglioteam
that decided to give us their help, beginning with this edition, with the news coming from eIndia and eIreland.

Last but not least, don’t forget to give a look to our own page on Erepublik’s wiki.
It is an “alive” page and it is keeped updated so don’t forget to check it out regularly.

That’s it!
Below, you will find some updates from around the eWorld. Thank you for reading, supporting us and sharing our article and message!

eAustria

Since the last report, eAustria has changed TW (=training wars) partners. New controlled battles are with ePoland and eTaiwan. In most of the cases, the strategies require that eAustria lose the direct battles in order to win the RWs(=Resistance wars).
At the same time, the country is now officially part of Pacifica Alliance after completing the entry process.

eBrazil

From the press:
-About training wars and cities election + Interviews with eArgentina and eBrazil Country Presidents (Portuguese+English+Spanish)

eFrance

On the internal side, Congress elections have seen the communist party losing the majority (for just one vote) of the seats. Anyway, the first three classified political parties have an equal number of Congressman.
The result of these elections could have an effect on the next presidential vote, with the Noob Party that could try to break the very long streak of victories of the communist party.
On the International side, France has been very busy helping allies around the eworld, especially in central Europe and China. And it is exactly in China that hostilities between the nation and Lithuania are going to explode in the next few days.

From the press:
-France and its international relations (French only)
-GFJ Guide to newspapers (French+English)

eHungary

eHungary is living in difficult times.
The president declared war on eUSA on his own responsibility at a dawn, bypassing the Congress and the general will.
After CODE’s defeats in Central America and Asia, the country is now under direct Serbian-American pressure.
Due to tactical errors, the "borderlock" strategy, who granted us borders security until now, is collapsed and eHungary is now fighting for its own existence.
The future is more uncertain than ever.

eIndia

In general news, after several months of discussions and effort, we have managed to obtain a completely neutral position in terms of CODE-Asteria war. This assumes much importance for us, as eIndia, with its large number of regions, has almost always been the flashpoint, or one of the flashpoints, of fighting between them.
Although some details with our TWs (=training wars) are still being fixed as we mix and match to look for partners, we have been keeping one thing in mind going forward, which is to go for countries not aligned with either of the two major power axes of the eworld.
A local headline in recent days has been the temporary ban (now reversed) of one Wittyprakash, a character who had famously gone rogue as a direct consequence of the resources wars from about a year and a half ago. He had since then moved to eLithuania and has been the cause of some brief political tensions between eIndia and a few of our TWs partners, although the issues were quickly and surely weeded out

eIreland

It's been quite peaceful in eIreland since the previous International Press Review.
However, that doesn't mean the Government doesn't keep focused on offering opportunities to the citizens to improve both their ground and air ranks. For the first ones, a division 2 epic battle was organized in the training war with the eNetherlands; for the second ones, the Irish Air Rank Program, one of the oldest initiatives of its kind, just reached its 165th week.
They both seems to be bearing fruit, since we just got a new player with 50/50 protector for eIreland Friedrich Nietzsche.
Like every 25th, Congress elections have just been held and Eire Aonair (the party in power) keeps getting stronger. In spite of the lower voter turnout (40 to 31) they will get close to an absolute majority (45.16😵.

Finally, Ireland continues being a small but attractive country for players around the world, immigration being one of its most common ways of getting new citizens. This week we welcome Lupa Loveless.

From the press:
-Air rank program - 165th week (English)

eJapan

The congress election didn’t bring big surprises, with the major political parties still having the majority of the seats.
An important cultural initiative has been launched by our Ministry of Education, in order to discover the best Haiku composer of the eWorld. Big prizes are available for the winners.
Internationally, training wars are going on as decided with our partners.

From the press:
-First Haiku Contest open to everyone (English)

eSouth Africa

From the press:

eSpain

-Tour de France competition is ready to start: big prizes for the winners (Spanish only)

eSwitzerland

From the press:
-Food distribution for Swiss people (English)

eTaiwan

eTaiwan now has more training wars, thanks to the latest one with eAustria.
There is also a new “epic-making project” that will occur every Tuesday to help etaiwanese players gaining more prestige points and ranks. There are also several new grant programs for players who are in low military rank level.
The country president Hata no Kokoro has already decided that will try to win one other term for the next month, in order to bring more new policies for etaiwanese players.

eUnited Kingdom

In the eUK congress elections, the biggest party TUP(centre left) won 17 out of 37 seats in the congress election (+1) as the rebellious Pirates lost 3 seats.
About passed laws, five transfers to the Bank of England plus two renewals of Raw Materials contracts have been made. Discussions continued about what to do about 'medal stealing' with no conclusion.
This demonstrates how stable things are in eUK.
