[eUSA] A Politicians Journey into the Military Module

Day 5,176, 16:14 Published in USA USA by Kody5

Its been a long time since I've dipped my toes in the politics of the eWorld. I'm usually a Federalist hermit that stays in his local politics. With the only exceptions in my eRep career being during the ATO or when Fingerguns drags me out of my hole to help her run for president.
This time I thought id venture out on my own and see what the world had to offer me and its definitely changed.

The first thing I learned is that the forums no longer matter anymore. Gone are the days of having to log into 4 websites just to keep in touch with everyone. reading through 5 different leadership boards just to see what new drama there is. Now the whole country is run by telegram or discord and to me this is a much better way of communication.
Forums are a great way to set goals and gauge people who really want to be active in leadership but discord/telegram is by far the easiest and most fun way to chat with people.

After my revelation of telegram. I dove into the politics of the war module. What countries we stand with and which countries hate us now.
I found out we were now a part of Asteria. Its the first time since I've played that we have been allied to Serbia and Romania.
Its always a fun change to ally with someone new and get to know different people you'd otherwise never talk to.
I also found out that the US has a lot of training wars compared to how it used to be. We rent our regions to our allies who might otherwise have a hard time keeping a region or two.
Why didn't we do this before? its kind of brilliant when you think of it. We have 50 regions and most of them aren't worth anything. We may as well use them somehow.

I found out that Croatia is now our enemy. Croatia was never an ally or an enemy in my time so this wasn't a shock to me. It seems that we're the giant buffer between our allies and our enemies nowadays. Protecting our allies from outside attacks when we can.

I did find out that we still had an old friend around in Bulgaria. I remember years ago, back when we were in CoT, Bulgaria was one of our best allies so its not to at least see one familiar face alongside us. They were always very receptive to me when I begged them to help us with votes against our political take over back them.

Overall, my adventure with national politics makes me feel that its mostly the same. The eWorld just wants to click buttons and its our job to give them enough buttons to click. Without that I suppose the game would just die and id have no one to write articles to anymore. The politics I've always engorged myself in would have no meaning.

Also yes im kody15 and this is my old account. I found my old email on a notepad somewhere buried in my house so i guess im officially back now.
