Hello everyone,

Over the past couple weeks representatives from 18 nations have been discussing the rules and details of the first e-Eurovision Song Contest. And now we finally have everything set and ready!

Date: Thursday June 11th, 08:00 Erep Time.
Location: eIreland Radio

THE CONTEST

Everyone will meet on the eIreland Radio channel for the contest on plug.dj. One person from each nation will enter the waiting list to play their song. Only representatives will be allowed to DJ until all contest songs are played.

VOTING

Each nation will conduct their own national vote. The vote will allow citizens to rank the participating nations. The top 5 songs will receive points as follows:

1st = 6 points
2nd = 4 points
3rd = 3 points
4th = 2 points
5th = 1 point

*Citizens cannot vote for their own nation*

Some representatives may not be able to make the date of the contest. If your nation is competing, be sure to find out which song represents your nation. If you attend the contest, and your representative does not then any citizen can play the song in their place.

PRIZE AND CONTINUATION

The contest has received much enthusiasm, and is expected to be done twice a year.

Currently this contest is just for fun, and the winner will get to host the next contest! They can use plug.dj or another free site of their choosing.
