Join the new world

Well, today marks my first go at politics. I'll be honest, I anticipated something very close to the result which I see so far. I didn't expect to win, but I'm honored to have been my party's candidate. Hopefully as I get more involved in this New World, gain a few more connections in my great state, maybe I'll be able to win one in the future.

I want to thank those who voted for me, whether on party lines or not. I feel that a vote for me is an expression of trust, and I don't take that lightly.

Here's to the future of California, and a hope that someday I'll have a bigger part in that.
