Taiwan joined to eRepublik on October 7, 2010, that means the age of Taiwan here is only 3+ month-old. Taiwan has her own government, politic parties, economic system, and military forces. These will all be introduced later.

台灣在西元2010年10月7日加入電子共和國的世界，
意思就是，台灣的年齡只有三個多月而已。
台灣擁有她自己的政府、政黨、經濟體系、及軍事力量。這些都將在後面一一介紹。

Taiwan is an island country in East Asia. She located on the western edge of the Pacific. Currently, she had five geographic neighbors: China, lying on the west; USA, lying on the east; Japan and South Korea, lying on the north; and Philippines, lying on the south.

The territory of Taiwan is divided to 4 regions originally: Northern Taiwan, Central Taiwan, Southern Taiwan, and Eastern Taiwan. In December 2010, Taiwan made a land swap with South Korea, so that now the region of Central Taiwn belongs to South Korea and Jeollabuk-do (over Korea peninsula) belongs to Taiwan.

Thanking South Korea for her agreement of the land swap, that Taiwan owns the resources of Grain, Fish, and Rubber.

台灣是東亞的島國，位於太平洋西緣。
目前，在地理位置上她擁有五個鄰國：西邊的中國、東邊的美國、北邊的日本及南韓、以及南邊的菲律賓。

台灣的領土最原始分為四個區域：北台灣、中台灣、南台灣、及東台灣。
在2010年12月，台灣和南韓進行換地交易，所以現在的 中台灣 隸屬於南韓，而朝鮮半島上的 Jeollabuk-do 則屬於台灣。

我們要感謝南韓同意與台灣換地，因此台灣擁有了小麥、魚、和橡膠三種資源。

The Admins have announced several times that they would add Taiwan to the eWorld since January 2009. With the efforts of a state-founding team composed of mainly several senior Taiwanese players and with the help of many players from China and USA, Taiwan was finally added on October 7, 2010.

The first president of Taiwan is BillWilson, one of the promoters to found Taiwan in the eWorld. He and his party members organized the initial government (as a copy of RL Taiwan government) and made the initial laws of the country. (Here is an article written by BillWilson which promoted the joining of Taiwan)

從2009年1月開始，無頭雞已經多次公告將把台灣加到這個e世界當中，
經過一個由幾位台灣資深玩家所組成的建國小組的努力，以及許多來自中國及美國的玩家的協助，
台灣終於在 2010年10月7日 加入這e世界。(光輝的十月！)

台灣的第一任總統是 BillWilson，他是促進在電子共和國裡台灣創國的推手之一。
他和他的黨同志們以真實世界的台灣政府為範本，架構出最早的e台灣政府組織，並起草國家法律。

Now, Taiwan is developing well. But the fate of Taiwan was unpredictable at the moment she was founded. Several foreign groups and parites wanted to politically takeover (PTO) Taiwan. One even tried to ask admins to rename Taiwan as Kazawan. Thank the first generation of Taiwanese citizens for their efforts against them, so that we have our nation!

現在，台灣正穩定地發展當中。但在初創台灣之際，台灣的命運是完全無法預知的。
有數個來自外國的團體及黨派試圖奪取台灣的執政權(PTO)，
其中一支甚至嘗試要求無頭雞將台灣的名稱改成 Kazawan。
感謝最初的台灣國民們努力將他們擊敗，讓現在的我們擁有屬於自己的國家！

For the difficult time in the beginning, Taiwan got many helps from China and USA. Nowadays, they both are the most important allaicnes of Taiwan. Before Taiwan's joining, parts of senior Taiwanese players were citizens of China, such as Oldwang, the strongest man in Taiwan. Parts of senior Taiwanese players were from USA Army, such as Jameson L. Tai, the former MoD of Taiwan and also the former Field Marshal of USA Army. Besides, in the initial terms of Taiwan government, there are several key officers coming from China and USA to help Taiwan go through the difficult begining. The former Vice President Chaurora is from China. And another former Vice President Darrel Anderson 2 and current Vice MoI Richard Nixon II are both from USA.

在初初建國的艱困時期，台灣獲得了許多來自 中國 及 美國 的幫助。
直到今日，這兩個國家仍是台灣最重要的友邦。
在台灣加入電子共和國之前，部份來自台灣的資深玩家以中國為國籍，例如台灣戰神－老王。
而部份來自台灣的資深玩家曾經隸屬於美軍， 例如 Jameson L. Tai，台灣的前國防部長，也曾經是美軍的地區元帥。
此外，在一開始的台灣政府當中，有幾位重要的職務及官員來自中國與美國，他們幫助台灣渡過開始的困難。
前副總統 Chaurora 來自中國，而另一位前副總統 Darrel Anderson 2 及現任副移民局長 Richard Nixon II 則來自美國。

In December 2010, Ronia the second term President of Taiwan made an agreement with South Korea about land swap. The regions swapped ware Central Taiwan and Jeollabuk-do. Although the process of land swap was not so smooth, Taiwan and South Korea people finally accomplished this plan together in this month.

2010年12月，台灣的第二任總統 Ronia 和南韓達成換地協議，
雙方交換的土地是台灣的 中台灣 和南韓的 Jeollabuk-do。
雖然換地的過程並非十分順利，但台灣和南韓的國民終於在本月共同完成了這個計畫。

Nowaday, the most treatening enemy and the natural enemy of Taiwan is the economic disturbance. Taiwan is going to conquer and counquer the economic distress!!

截至目前為止，台灣最大的威脅及死敵的對象是電子共和國的經濟紊亂。
台灣將一次又一次地戰勝這些經濟災難的！

Currently, a large part of Taiwan citizens comes from two Taiwan internet society -- PTT and Bahamut. Because of the efforts of Taiwan players, there are more and more new babies born from different Taiwan internet societies.

Taiwan labours is in high quality of working. The governemnt's publication and seniors citizens do their best to educate all citizens work with full health. They are all unsung heroes of Taiwan economic achievement!

目前，大部份的台灣國民來自兩個台灣的網路社群 -- 批踢踢 和 巴哈姆特。
因為台灣玩家的努力，也有愈來愈多新人來自於其他的台灣網路社群。

台灣的勞動階層在工作上的素質很高，
政府刊物及資深國民盡最大的努力教育所有國民以滿體力工作。
他們都是台灣經濟奇蹟的無名英雄！

Currently, Taiwan has three resource: Grain, Fish, and Rubber. That means companies in Taiwan can get bonus: Grain-25%, Food-10%, and Weapon-5%. To promote economic development, Taiwan government sets relatively low Income Tax, Import Tax, and VAT (except of Import Tax of Food). Because of working hard Taiwanese labours, Taiwan is self-contained and self-sufficient. The Central Banks of Taiwan also do their best to keep the currency market stable. These makes Taiwan grow steadily in economics. Now, more and more Taiwan businessmen begin to export their good to foreign countries.

現階段，台灣有三種資源：小麥、魚、和橡膠。
這代表台灣的公司可以得到的生產加成為：小麥廠25%、麵包廠10%、武器廠5%。
為了促進經濟發展，台灣政府訂了相對低的所得稅、進口稅、及增值稅（除了麵包進口稅之外）。
因為有勤奮的台灣勞工，台灣在經濟上可以自給自足，這些都讓台灣的經濟穩健地發展。
現在，愈來愈多的台灣商人開始出口他們的貨物到國外。







《Military and Diplomacy》

Taiwan has her own army -- ROC(Taiwan) Armed Forces, which is under the command of President and Department of Defense. Taiwan Armed Forces has his training programs for soldiers. The goal of Taiwan Armed Forces is to enforce the political and military power of Taiwan fighting for his homeland as well as protecting his allies. Besides, a part of the Taiwan military forces is from the militia. Most civilians are united and are willing to obey the command of their nation to fight.

Currently, Taiwan has two alliances -- China and USA, both are Taiwan's best friends and both are her neighbors. Taiwan also has friendly relationship with other neighbors, Japan, South Korea, and Philippines. Thank them for their backup, Taiwan can grow smoothly! 🙂

台灣擁有自己的軍隊 -- 台灣國軍，受總統及國防部所指揮。
台灣國軍有一套自己的訓練計畫來訓練他的士兵。
台灣國軍的成立宗旨在捍衛台灣的政治及軍事力量，並為保護國家及友邦而戰。
此外，有一部份的台灣軍事力量來自於民兵，
大部份的平民是團結一致的，而且願意接受國家的指揮上戰場作戰。

目前，台灣有兩個盟國 -- 中國與美國，兩個都是台灣的最佳盟友及好鄰居。
台灣和其他的鄰國也保持友好關係：日本、南韓、及菲律賓。
