Last week, Congress voted to approve a third iteration of the Holdings Relocation Program. I’m here to signal its immediate start!
Program Overview
This program is to relocate existing domestic food and weapons production companies to current "safe states" where Training Wars will not be held to ensure continuous production.
The following costs are eligible for reimbursement under this program:
- The cost of creating up to two (2) new Holdings in designated safe states
The following costs are NOT eligible for reimbursement under this program:
- The cost of moving existing domestic companies (in a eUS region) to the new holding
- The cost of creating a new Holding that is not in a designated safe state
- The cost of moving companies from outside the eUS into the eUS
Process
1. Fill out this form before Decembe 18th, 2020.
2. A member of the team will evaluate your application, request any needed clarification, and then provide funds

So this covers only costs with new holdings, not with moving companies whatsoever. Thank you again for D.C., good lad Plato for providing those tokens.
Holdings creation now: if I have a single holding in D.C. can I create 2 new in, let's say, Virginia and West Virginia (so numbers 2 and 3)? And you pay 1x25gold plus 2x25gold (in CC)? What about the situation in the screenshot you provided, where one can see 4 existing holdings but out of which 3 are completely empty? Do you return 4x25gold + 5x25gold in CC, even if the 3 empty holdings can be dissolved in order to lower the price of the new ones? If so, then I guess I could also create 1 or 2 more (cheap) before applying for the final 2 (which could be numbers 3 and 4, or 4 and 5).
The tokens are the reason we are not (currently) covering costs of moving companies. When we stop getting tokens then we can have another discussion.
If there are empty ones to dissolve to reduce costs that will be required. The screenshot on the form was an example, not an indication of overspending.

I'm not fluent in Pakled, so I'm having problems understanding this. It cost me ~$13,000 to create a new holding co. I fight way more often than the average player, and still have only 2/3 of the tokens necessary to move my companies to the new holding. Just lazily, it would cost $~110k to move the rest. It's like the insurance company saying "Great news! We'll cover the hurricane damage!" and then offering a check sufficient to pay for rebuilding the garage.
Yah, the pakled don't have this kind of problems as they own no companies.. or if they do, they simply take money straight from the treasury they control....
Great opportunity for your party's congressmen to bring this up in Congress if additional funding is needed. The immediate need is for holdings, since the tokens have been coming.
No, the immediate need is to make this is smooth and painless as is possible, for as many people as possible. It's something that had to be gotten right, the first time, not carelessly f%cked up and then blamed on congress like you gutless f#ckwits do with everything else.

The time to fund moving costs is after we can't get tokens anymore. Why spend money on something Plato will foot the bill for?
People will quit. People who don't will leave companies behind. Tax revenue that comes from companies will be lost, if only temporarily. I myself, who fights way more often than most people, won't have enough tokens for at least another few weeks -- and that's only because of Black Friday fighting. Plato has still been giving out tokens. Until that stops, we would be paying for things that could be done for free. There's been no information on when tokens will stop yet.
Are "foreigners" eligible that already produce in the US and want to move holdings?
I am potentially interested to move 100+ companies to a newly created US holding,...
