Why Ghost of Tom Joad Makes Sense or Just Vote for SFP

Editors Note: The only thing I can get excited about (I am not a good enough writer to bring about this paper drawing enough attention for it to be as fun) are elections. Of course, I rarely stand a chance but still it is something for me be involved in, that last enough hours to try an engage others in ones fight (to get the vote out). This time I am campaigning for a friend and against a long time foe.
Trust, a worthy consideration. And I trust both candidates, but for completely different reasons. I trust both to remain who they are and how they have played over the course of months...
Two worthy candidates, so how to separate them...
Both are former PP's but Jude Connors already won the last two...

I resigned as Chairman of the Revolutionary Committee and President of the Socialist Freedom Party. According to our Constitution, the committee member with the longest tenure was declared to be SFP Chairman. That person is TheNorm.
unfortunately Admins game mechanics > party Constitution...
This error easily could have turn the PP over to any number of overly experience pointed players.
Let's rotate our fellow players, and consider what a rush to the top five might entail... An already a fractious party, according to Jude!

My Phoenix Quinn portion: Who would he back? Ghost a loud critic of the elite stranglehold and the manner of gameplay to ensure that grasp or Jude a willing rebel but also overly familiar friend of the elite?

If you don't believe this is an already fractious party, you aren't paying attention. What Jude did was correct according to the longstanding and democratically approved party constitution of the party. The chair of the RC does not depend on who is chair in game. Also, this was done with the full knowledge that there was no way the default PP could do any damage before the next one was elected. Whether you agree with Jude's decision to resign or not, it put the party in no danger whatsoever.

the issue is why Jude has to run, every month, none of the fractions have a worthy stand in? (And yes, I am implying Jude wants to be overlord, at least for now)
Let's see, three months in a row. Before that, last time I was SFP PP was May, June, July 2014. Hardly what an "overlord" does - LOL.
I have a goal that I want to see through. this will most probably be my last month running, as by the third month, I usually want to kill party members. 😛
And three terms in a row seems to be a standard nowadays.

We are a party of standards now (actually Ghost has a good idea on this front -standards-)? Your statement kinda has holes,like it has to work this month or not... And it begs the question if three in a row is too much why isn't there others to see a common goal through (unless this is your pet)?

"I have a goal that I want to see through." It's still why aren't others taking over and running with the party's new scheme, of course your opponent has stated he doesn't plan to abandon the goal of top 5.
Hypothetically speaking; I will never abandon hope for attaining the top 5.
I will never abandon the principals s that held the party together for half a decade.
If I were forced to choose; I would put the those values first.
The reality is; at he end of the day, I like to have friends. If everyone would tell me what they want; I'll do it.
I was curious and looked it up on the forum There are at least half a dozen SFP members who have been PP 3 months in a row. GoTJ has been PP 4 months in a row, and LordOther 5 months in a row. You may have other good reasons to support Tom's candidacy, but this really ought not to be one of them.
How about placing those tenures with party activity, let me guess no were near the activity and membership that is present presently... Please bring arguments that are based on something other than a general dislike of my writing.
I'm not sure how an argument against your logic, which seems flawed in this case, translates to a general dislike of your writing. For the most recent example of someone who was PP 3 times in a row, you need look no further than shiloh13, February through April of this year. I think there was arguably a high level of activity during his tenure, including the highly successful Valentine's Day fund raiser and significant growth in the party and in media activity, yet I saw no complaints from you against his running 3 times in a row.

Both Jude and Ghost have fine qualities. An interesting historical note is that GoTJ is the former CivalUnrest (think I got that right)... someone who kicked revolutionary life into a somewhat moribund SFP long ago. He is my favorite cultural revolutionist. Jude, ofc, is legendary. Two good choices.
I will work hard for either candidate, but I hope I'll win by one vote.
IMO both comrades have been invaluable to SFP and I'm confident either/or will continue to build on the values that SFP has come to embody.
