State of the New World

The state of the New World remains favorable for USA and its allies. We have come a long way from the days of our wipe and now hold a dominant position across most continents. This article summarizes our position and that of our alliance, Asteria, by continent.

North America:


The USA is free from hostile occupation. Our 51 cores enable us to engage in 36 TWs - soon to be 37 with the addition of Italy - enabling us and our allies to farm gold effectively that can be used against Code. Canada, to our north, is doing well as always, they host a few neutral countries. We have friendly relations with Canada - we TW Israel from their cores, and they TW India from our cores. Mexico, to our south, has for now accepted that it cannot engage in anti-US actions, and is currently TWing North Macedonia, Lithuania, the US, and Bulgaria. However, Mexico has often changed positions in bad times for Code, so it remains to be seen if they hold any agreement for the long term. Cuba in the Caribbean Sea continues its policy of neutrality, TWing neutral and Asteria countries.




South America:


Asteria members Colombia and Paraguay are free and thriving in South America. Neutral Brazil and Peru engage in TWs with other neutral countries, and with each other. The cores of Code countries of Argentina, Venezuela, Bolivia, and Uruguay are wiped - Chile has temporarily freed its cores from Romania after a long occupation but battles are ongoing in this region as Asteria looks to re-assert its dominance.



Europe:


Europe remains a battle ground as some of our major hostile countries- Croatia, Hungary, and Greece- continue to fight against Asterian advances here. Asterian dominance continues in the region, however, as Turkey, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia, and France are wiped. The US has played a key part in these occupations. This month, we have focused on Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey in particular. Several neutral countries in Europe- Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, and Norway, among others, continue to do well.



Australasia:

The crown jewel of Asia - China, hosts several Asterian countries and TWs with us. Asia is home to several neutral countries such as India, Philippines, Japan, Pakistan,and Republic of China (Taiwan), many of whom continue to do well and have TWs with Asteria members. The code’s member, South Korea, is wiped by Asteria.

At the same time, Africa has only two countries in eRepublik ,neutral Nigeria, and pro-Asteria South Africa. South Africa is an integral ally of Asteria and continues to assist us in occupying several Code colonies.
