Join the new world

Unity, especially in politics and government, is a complex subject. It's against human nature to agree 100% of the time, so 100% unity is really never possible is it? But it's also human nature to come together, as a community, as a town, as a city, as a state, as a nation and share ideas and better ourselves, wether or not it's for the right reasons.... Well that's for you to decide I suppose.

Unity never plays a more crucial purpose then after elections, our country, regardless if Barack Obama or Mitt Romney wins the election, will need not only support from their respective party, but a little help from the other party as well.. Easier said than done, am I right? And eRepublik USA is absolutely no different, we have plenty of political parties that hate each other, or hate a particular candidate, whatever, that's what people do, they pick who they like and they vote, that's what makes a democracy. And I get it, I've been butthurt after some elections too, I don't like a lot of candidates in real life, or in eRepublik, but what I don't and nobody else should ever do, is let that get in the way of bettering your country in every SINGLE way possible. It's fine to be mad and it's fine to question and criticize those in power but don't let that at all effect your ability to help out. Us newer members need the help, and frankly, we don't care who it comes from really.


Unity is even when times are at there most tough, when everything seems to be going downhill, when it seems there is no where to turn, you find a way. No matter what it takes, find a way to help your country out. They need you. They'll always need you. Unity is realizing that even though you may have made it to the top, realizing there is still somebody down there, someplace where you were maybe not even 2 months ago, and it's pulling together, and helping that person to the top without sinking down yourself.
