So, i've been seeing the wages increase alot lately. A week ago, a friend offered me a job at his company for $35. Hell, that's the most i've ever been offered (I've usually been working at about $26). Now I look at the job market, and I could be working for $46!
That's a lot of money isn't it considering you was lucky to be earning $20 a while ago. But i'm going a bit off topic because what I wanted to say today was: Are wages becoming unsustainable? Lets take a look -
I'll use myself as an example - I earn $35 from working. I produce 95 Grain for my clicking effort. Now, say we sell all that instantly at the current market price of 0.45 - That's $42.75 for my friend, a $7.75 profit. BUT - What if i'd worked for a company that paid me $46 ... they'd make a loss of $3.25 right?
And think, that adds up. $3.25 now, $22.75 by the end of the week! Not much, but if you had an entire company full of people like that, you're losing $227.50 a week. Now THAT is a huge number. The way I see it, wages are increasing too fast for the market to keep up with, because the market's been steady for the past week.
So, my question to everyone today is this - What do you think should be done?

Should add Anti-Low Health Workers module.
I have very competitive wages and i'm doing fine thank you.
Or production-based salary. Get paid based on how much you produce. That way people who work with low health wouldn't get paid as much as somebody who works with 100 health.

Production-based salary is the only system that works. One can't afford to pay their workers more than what their work is worth.
It's why I don't hire employees.
@Owl_Man - You should absolutely be able to keep low health workers from taking a job at your company. I think you should be able to set certain standards, including health and citizenship, for a worker to accept the position and start working for you.

Right now all national currencies are tanking. Look at the USD MM. You can now buy USD cheaper than it costs for the government to print the stuff.
I agree, but how can company owner keep workers if he have normal salaries?
If I don't keep up with job market everybody is leaving, what is understandable because why would you work for 35$ when you can work for 45$ ???
Join a Commune. The Socialist Freedom Party Communes have been working great. Most of them are run on the profit share module. It works like this, daily wage is around minimum wage, and at the end of the week (every Sunday) workers are paid a lump sum based on the profit of the company and the productivity of each worker.

I agree, it just doesn't make sense how people can pay that much for employees, they are obviously losing money!
Company owners don't employ anybody. What they only should do is to work for their own companies. Otherwise they will keep losing money.
Yeah, the Peg is flucuating, which is leading to the instability. Try measureing your wage against the peg and seeing how much gold you make, instead of USD. This should lead to a slightly more stable number, however due the Peg, I imagine that you have actually been making less and less gold.

I dont employee people, there for i always profit. :d
i just started employing. i lost 700 USD on my first day. I had, however just employed 50 something new workers. Many of them had to be laid off.

This job market is a real pain. I've been dealing with it for months.
