General Announcements:
It's been a rough week in RL for me, resulting in 2-clicking and no articles.
I apologize for missing Movie Night this past Wednesday. I may present a make-up (make out?) Movie Night or just let it ride till next Wednesday.
This weekend we are at Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Mt. Clemens MI, my RL home town. Selfridge is the home of the 127th Wing, Michigan Air National Guard, and serves as a joint DoD and DHS installation. The 127th Wing is also host to more than 40 tenant units representing every branch of the active duty military as well as Reserves and National Guard, Coast Guard, Border Patrol and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
USArmy Basic Training Graduates
Drill Sergeant Michael Francis, with RECBN grad FFC Teddy Roosevelt
USArmy Recruits, upon security clearance and acceptance, are put through a Basic Training Program which helps them learn and understand how we "play Army" within the game of eRepublik.
Recruits are required to demonstrate a variety of skills including several methods of communication, proper dress uniform, plus understanding and following orders. As simple as this seems, our Reception Battalion (RECBN) does weed out players who are not suited for the military aspect of eRep, so these do not become a drag on the cohesiveness of the fighting units.
USArmy Executive Officer Lieutenant General Kyler Lee Octan, along with RECBN Drill Sergeant Michael Francis, join all Officers and Soldiers of the USArmy in congratulating recent graduates of our own USArmy Basic Training Program.
These soldiers have demonstrated proficiency in the duties required of a United States Army fighter and demonstrated the activity a fighter needs.
They have graduated the Reception Battalion and been promoted to Fighter First Class (FFC), and may now sport the Reception Battalion Graduate userbar in their US MilForum signatures.

Promoted from LtCol, Colonel TheHarvester continues as Senior Officer of our Intel (S-2) Unit.
Promoted from 1Lt, Captain Jasoneye21 is now the Senior Officer of our Roster Maintenance (S-1) Unit.
Special Mention:
The very lovely and exciting Kria Erikson retired from the USArmy, stepping off as Lt Colonel and 5th Division CO, due to RL time constraints. Kria has joined the US National Guard, has won a seat in the US Congress, and may still be found in the USArmy IRC rooms most evenings.
Thank You, ma'am, for your excellent service, above and beyond any reasonable call of duty, to our USArmy. We look forward to your return to our ranks as soon as possible.

The 5th is a great Division and I am proud to be its new CO. I am also very happy to see the 5th growing with new members like CheesyQueso, TJ Scott, and Libby. Let's continue to make the 5th, and the Army, the best that it can be.
Congratulations everyone!
\o/ Go Army!!

I originally joined the Army because I was bored with just plain ol' eRep. What I didn't know was that there were so many people to support you and to talk to! I've been in the Army for almost 2 years now and I'm not planning on quitting any time soon!
Go Army!
Kria Erikson has been my role model, showing that women can be both pretty and strong, but that strength of character is what really counts in the USArmy.
I'm proud to have graduated RECBN and look forward to joining my fellow soldiers of the 5/1 in both battle and social activities.
GO ARMY \o7/
GO ARMY
I just wanted to say that I look forward to a long career in the Army. I hope to see alot more of you all joining the greatest military on the planet.... 🙂
Congrats to all! Recognize quite a few names : )
I wanted to become a part of the Army for a year know, but I've been busy back in Cro Army. It sure is a wonderful experience being here.

I became a part of the eUS Army to get some more fun out of this game. The Army is very interactive and is populated by a large community of people like you. You can guarantee you'll get a much better experience out of this game by joining the eUS Military. Preferably the Army branch.
Go Army!
The army is a great experience and I'm glad that I made the choice to be in it. It is a well structured community that will promise to help you when you need it most. The army definitely makes eRepublik a more enjoyable game.
Go Army!
The Army has been my eHome for the what was almost a year and a half. I've got to meet and work with many dedicated players through the Army, and I wouldn't change anything about my experience there if I had to go back and do it again. I miss everyone there even though I've only been gone a couple weeks and still visit. I have great confidence in the future of the Army and the 5th Division. You guys rock, keep it up!
Wooo great article.
The Army has been a big and important part of my eREPUBLIK life. I always look forward to serving with my 5th Division brothers and sisters, especially those in the 2nd Platoon.
NEVER GIVE UP!
