At the time this is written, a Lithuanian military plane - send in an attempt to occupy Ostlandet - has crashed somewhere in the Skagerrak after being hit by Norwegian anti aircraft missile.

Norwegian Search and Rescue teams are now looking for any survivors. Our aim is to recover all remains of the casualties, to have them send back to Vilnius.

We can only guess why Lithuanian high command chose to strike Norway's only region with a determination bonus (1.25😵

update 1: unconfirmed rumours in Lithuanian military circles speak of Lithuanian military personal being tired of war with Asgard. The contigent send by Lithuanian high command on this mission impossible could be part of a group that was seeking peace with the Northern states.

update 2: a high ranking military officer of the Lithuanian army who has just deflected to Oslo reports that there was an attempt to eliminate the Lithuanian high command in their bunker near Kaunas by a group that is tired of the wars with Asgard. Sadly this attempt failed, and many of the high ranking officers of this group have fled to various countries. The ordinary soldiers of this group were then send on this impossible mission to Ostlandet, as Lithuanian high command knew it would fail because Ostlandet is the only Norwegian region with a determination bonus.
