The Story About Aleks [Part 1] How It All Began

This is the first part of a story about one little guy. The guy who contrary to all expectations made it in this game and became of the most successful Presidents UK's ever had.

Have passed since I joined eUK community. It was just before Ayame Crocodile's election for the Country President. ACroc had an interesting new member in his Cabinet, a guy with a nickname Aleksandar.V Popovic, who others called Alex. He became deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and was more than happy about it although also a bit disappointed that he wasn't the Minister himself.

You see, Aleks is a very ambitious guy, always aiming for the highest roles. At first I was put off by his posts where he was agreeing with literally everyone, supporting even completely opposing statements. He was calling all Serbs PTOers and I thought he was just an elaborate troll who's who*ing out for titles... Weeks passed and I realized what a sweetheart he really was. A guy with some tough luck in his life, serious health conditions and a heart of gold. Not to be pitied but admired for the things he's been through and the s*it he has to deal with now.


It all started as joke

Not many of you were friendly to me from the beginning, which was understandable given the tough situation the country was in and my big mouth. One of the guys who was always there for me was Sam010. He came up with the idea to join then added Nigeria and try have some fun there. We organized ourselves,... Well, Angela Williams mostly did the organizing part. There was Sam010, KieranB, Angela, Adastros, MarkTD, fm2008, me and many others. We even created #eNigeria channel (which is now the official channel) and everything was going according to the plan until Sam010 and I joked one day on #eNigeria. We joked how hilarious it'd be to make Aleks a Country President! Minutes later the whole purpose of the trip was hijacked, much to the annoyance of Angela Williams. Aleks being Nigeria's supreme leader, or some sort of deity who owns that place provided too much potential for fun to be easily let go.

Sudden change of plans

On May 22nd and 29th, 2014, two channels were created with one goal... getting Aleks elected as the Country President. Quotes bot was placed to insure all memorable Aleks statements were recorded and one of the first ones was:

Yes, Betty Boop is a channel bot, but also one of Aleks' best friends. Angela Williams later sai😛

You see, the moment only Sam010 got Nigerian citizenship pass, our plan went down the drain. We were thinking what to do next... Maybe try finding some Congressmen who would give us passes? Seemed impossible as they were all PTOers. So we decided to do the easier thing... Lets just make Aleks a Country President of UK!

"Aleks will become UK CP!" - I was trying to convince people who at that point had a hard time to take me seriously.


However, Aleks was not happy with the idea as he knew how many people in UK hated him. DanMoir banned him from TUP forums with the explanation that he's too retarded to post there and people were mostly shunning him down at every corner. As he only ever wanted to be accepted and liked, Aleks kept changing the parties and units frequently... which only made things worse. People hated him even more as they saw him as a turncoat. So without us knowing, Aleks kept contacting Congressmen in Nigeria like crazy... Until he got a citizenship. lol We all failed to get one, but he did! He even changed his avatar, especially for that occasion:
