With the five major parties celebrating varying degrees of won seats, it’s clear that the Austrian Independence Party will hold a majority this term- despite not getting their PP a seat of his own.
The People’s Socialist Party has pulled, once again, out from inactivity and gone on to win 12.5% of the vote.
Rot Weiss Rot, Illuminus Austria and the Party of Austrian Empire have all lost seats in this election, but grabbed a fair portion of the vote for themselves nonetheless. In the next presidential election, however, we could see the hold of Illuminus Austria broken and a new incumbent take Metallon’s place.
