The potential presidentials!

Day 676, 14:59 Published in Austria Austria by H. S. Dovewatch

The end of the congressional elections has seen a massive upheaval on the political party arena, affecting all the major parties.

The PSP has detailed it's targets for the coming term, hoping to claim 9 seats in the next elections (4 up from the 5 won last time round) and increase it's membership to 30.
Big targets, but PP Arthur Reynolds is confident.

The Austrian Independence Party and Illuminus Austria have both suffered membership loss today. From 50, IA has dropped to 46- making Rot Weiss Rot once again the biggest party in Austria.
The AIP has alsodropped from 34 to 25.

Both of the parties have lost congress members in the slip, and it's partly down to the arrival of a new party on the scene: The BurgenlandishePartei.

Ruled by the mysterious Cratia_Man, it looks like a fair few 'Austrians' are now backing his scheme to PTO Austria. With stated congress members switching, the figures now look like this:

Austrian Independence Party: 12 seats - 30.77% of congress (down from 40😵;

Illuminus Austria: 8 seats - 20.51% of congress (down from 25😵;

Rot Weiss Rot= 7 seats - 17.95% of congress (no change);

People's Socialist Party: 5 seats - 12.82% of congress (no change);

BurgenlandishePartei: 4 seats - 10.26% of congress (up from zilch);

Party of Austrian Empire: 2 seats 5.13% of congress (no change).

With a new threat emerging for Austria, the parties may have to yet again unite against a common foe
