The New DWP?
darlosworld
So in a sense the Desu Workers Party has disbanded. I say 'in a sense' because officially a merger took place between DWP and close political ally and friend the SOS Brigade to make for a larger party. Although it is a bit of a shame that the DWP had just made it into the top 5 (membership wise), this merger has now pushed the SOS Brigade into joint second place along with the Godzilla Party, and will definately make for an interesting next presidential election.
So why aren't I following my fellow party members, especially since one more member would push them into a non-shared second place? Well, on the 5th of April members (I presume it wasn't just myself) were sent the following email warning of an attack on the party.
"URGENT MESSAGE FROM THE DWP
darlosworld, this is an urgent message from the Desu Workers Party. This message is to inform you to change your Party Affiliation to the SOS Brigade.
The reason being that the FoH are planning to take over the party. They are starting their attack on the party earlier than we anticipated.
As such, we are moving this merge up to RIGHT NOW. When you read this, please change your Party Affiliation to SOS Brigade. Thank you, see you on the other side.

Brigade Chief Haruhi Suzumiya

After double checking with Brigade Chief Haruhi Suzumiya it was an official warning (I've always been sceptical about messages on behalf of others, the worst I'd received was from someone trying to get me to work for them).
But to put it bluntly, I'm stubbord sod. I don't like having to change things if I don't feel it necessary, thus I decided to stay and stick it out. The party president elections are but a day away and we've still got no new candidates. I would have presumed the FoH would have put a candidate forward by now, however, it could very well be the case that due to the DWP's now low membership number, the FoH have decided not to take over DWP but another instead. It might also be the case that if the FoH just had aspirations of killing the party, then sadly it looks like it has achieved it's task.
So what with the party now? I asked on the forum if anyone was sticking about, and if not would the party simply go defunct. Sadly for the 3 month old DWP, that is the way it seems to be going.

However, I'm contemplating taking over and running for party president.
Why? Why bother being a part of a small party that won't affect anything on a big stage?
Because it is the small parties that can help keep things going. Obviously I'm not expecting this party to produce a country president at any point in the future, but if we can get some congressmen forward, then we CAN make a difference. Then if we work with other smaller parties, then we can make even more of a difference.
I wish the old members of the DWP all the best with the SOS Brigade, and I know that they will be able to work well together as has been done in the past, and thank them for establishing such an interesting party.

Good luck at second reincarnation of DWP.
goodluck
Good luck! But having two half-DWPs is a bit strange idea for me.
>But having two half-DWPs is a bit strange idea for me.
Some players moved to SOS-dan party and another part don't move. Some of them are dead persons. Darlo have some good ideas, so I wish to him good luck.
I have access to all the private FoH lines of communication, and this is the first I have heard of this take-over.
"I would have presumed the FoH would have put a candidate forward by now, however, it could very well be the case that due to the DWP's now low membership number, the FoH have decided not to take over DWP but another instead. This plan never got out of stage one, which was drawn up in Haruhi's head, apparently. There was never any consideration whatsoever to take over Desu...
Seriously, when does this crap stop?
Good luck to you sir!
Though this further illustrates how absurd Haruhi's thoughts are, that a "take-over" was planned. Maybe Nata's recruiting efforts just work too well, or maybe it was a certain Phoenix nation trying to get into Congress. Oh no, it couldn't be either of those...
Hmmm... Maybe I can release all seals of restrictions... or not?
This is news to me. Apparently I'm helping to take over a party and I didn't even know it. Maybe my other self has something to do with this. Lets ask.
Me: "Self, are you planning to take over the DWP?"
Myself: "Nope. You know me, I'm only thinking about naked women."
Me: "I figured as much, but I thought I would ask. We're being accused of doing so."
Myself: "😉o they have naked women?"
Me: "I don't know...I don't think so."
Myself: "Then its of no interest to either of us."
Me: "Good point, thank you for your time."
Myself: "Any time bro, I'm always here for you, in the back of your mind."
I guess that answers that.
Good luck with the party president thing, but one of our biggest problems in eJapan is active players. Hopefully we can get more actual people playing and participating so we can have a stronger country all around. Unfortunately activity has died off a little, so part of the reason for consolidating parties was I believe for security.
Aogo, Pupants: When a threat comes from one of the more prominent members of FoH to take over your party, you tend to take it seriously.
I will keep this simple:
There was never any suggestion, proposal, idea or plan to interfere with or take over the DWP.
There, that ends it. Anything else is rumour or hearsay: Intentionally spread to stir the flames, or propagated as a result of ignorance.
Why is Haruhi-san even contemplating this, anyway?
There's no logic behind it, as far as I can see.
And to darlos-san, all the best to you!
"FoH" does not have, and did not ever have, any interest in your party or "taking it over".
@Konno Do you have any evidence to support your accusation? Or is this as serious as Haruhi's run for the Presidency?
Rerieru: You are right there is no logic. Even if for some incomprehensible reason we'd want to dilute our influence into _three_ parties, we simply don't have the numbers to do it.
So, to summarise: We don't want to, we'd be stupid to, we don't have the numbers to, nor did we ever even contemplate taking on a third party.
"Because it is the small parties that can help keep things going."
Perhaps. However you shouldn't have the party exist ingame unless you have the numbers, otherwise you weaken the top 5 and open us up to attack from a PTO Party (like what happened last month).
The best thing to do is have your group exist on the forums and ally with a larger party ingame for congress seats. Only moving into a real party once you have ~60 members.
From what I can see, it's just you and a pile of dead bodies in the in game DWP at the moment though.
For the trolls in this topic who expect a response, I will only leave you with a quote:
Logic takes care of itself; all we have to do is to look and see how it does it.
Haruhi, I am not one of the trolls, and I'd like a response: What grounds did you have to accuse us of something like this?
I never completely accused your group of such, Daeish.
We had our suspicions, but we knew you couldn't possibly hold up three parties, so the very thought was erased after that logic crossed our minds. So did I accuse you of something, no. We were being wary of the possibility, and taking preventative action. In the long run, we decided that instead of temporarily moving and coming back, we would merge into SOS (which was something I talked with Fae extensively on). So what started as a possible countermeasure became a bond and a solidified merger.
With this last comment, I sincerely depart this.
It was sent in your name. Accusation without proof is against eLaw.
"I never completely accused your group of such, Daeish
[...]
So did I accuse you of something, no."
With all due respect. If darlosworld is quoting the message sent our with _your_ signature (and you have not contested its accuracy), you sai😛 "the FoH are planning to take over the party"
That is an accusation. It's wrongful, it's deceitful and it is malicious. I have tried to treat you with courtesy, but when you _throw accusations_ (and that IS an accusation, no matter how you twist your words) at us in this manner, you are quickly losing my respect.
I expect an unreserved and public apology.
Regarding the message:
I myself was also quite surprised when I found this in my mail and also sceptical because of the sender:
Brigade Chief Haruhi Suzumiya
Sent by: Kotomi Ichinose"
Why dind´t this mail come directly from Suzumiya...
Well since the majority had already moved at the time, that I went online, I joined the SOS as well, but this whole act left a strange taste in my mouth.
It's a merger people, get over it.
@Kenji: No need to feel sour, we merged.
@Daeish: I do not 'owe' you anything. I do not 'need' your respect. Your 'courtesy' is far from courtesy. Unless you call trolling, bandwagoning, and flaming 'courteousy'
I have never trolled, "band-wagoned" or flamed you. You will not be able to find a single instance of such, as I just don't do that.
As no apology is forthcoming, for something which is an obviously malicious and wrongful accusation, I will treat with you as you deserve.
@Haruhi You keep saying you are done posting, yet you keep posting... You keep talking about flaming, trolling, and bandwagoning when you are the worst offender. Your co-conspirators are attempting to make the shuffle to SOS look as if another entity caused it. Either you agree with them and you both are incorrect, or you don't agree with them and they are wrong. Either way, there was no external force attempting to take over DWP.
Feel free to keep lying about that though, and "not-posting-further"!
-so the very thought was erased after that logic crossed our minds.-
Yet you still sent all those slanderous emails.
-With this last comment, I sincerely depart this.-
Yet you keep posting after making this comment.
It's a wonder how anyone still believe anything you say. You lie so much you manage to contradict yourself every three lines you type.

When ones moved one party's active members to another to control another party, this created a precedent.
_
And after that, one continues to stir something up like minor parties were security threats to the country and labelled as the enemies, calling them names, I think that is logical that someone can get nervous. Anyway, this thread is not about you, so move on.
>"FoH" does not have, and did not ever have, any interest in your party or "taking it over".
Say it to "silent ninja" Kakumei. He wake up 3 times at month and do something for FoH sake.
That's right Nata-kun! Kakumei is not doing exactly as you told him/her and thus it MUST BE FoH!!!
Get real - you just invited waaay too many newbies into your party and when they started to have a mind and will of their own you got scared and called them FoH, with no such proofs. I for one know of noone in DWP with any FoH ties. and Kakumei is deifinately not related to FoH my any means. Isn't it possible this individual just thought it could be fun to try out PP now that all the more active members left anyway? Under you logic all PPs of smaller parties should be suspected of being FoH then?
Shit I think they control the entire fucking country. I bet danyeo is FoH too. And KITA is FoH - He is just writing those articles to appear legit. OMGWTFBBQ!!!
>Kakumei is not doing exactly as you told him/her and thus it MUST BE FoH!!!
So why he waked up only before 5th, 15th and 25th day of each month? Where he was another days? Sleep and wake up only for voting? Oh, no! It TEH DRAMA!
>when they started to have a mind and will of their own you got scared and called them FoH, with no such proofs.
You friends called me PTOer without profs. Also, I like double standards but I'm not afraid you buddies but you afraid me.
>And Kakumei is deifinately not related to FoH my any means.
Why he was 2 weeks at Scorpion Clan and don't answer via PM?
>Under you logic all PPs of smaller parties should be suspected of being FoH then?
All small parties are political corpses. But you can look at http://www.erepublik.com/en/party-candidates/the-technocratic-party-1331/1" target="_blank">http://www.erepublik.com/en/party-candid[..]331/1 Do you think all of them want rise this party?
>Shit I think they control the entire fucking country.
Interesting what do you will say at my next running for congress? You and Co damn afraid me and AoNeko. I think that little FoH butthurt will be fine to me at 23-25th of April.
P.S. keks-n returning at eRep yesterday.
I think half of DWP was in SC during the Hungarian PTO incident, that makes most of your party FOH 🙂
>I think half of DWP was in SC during the Hungarian PTO incident.
Half? You don't know how to calculate percentages. It was about 10-12 members.
>That makes most of your party FOH 🙂
No. This means that I and they were fooled by "Hungarian PTO" hysteria. I often wrote to DWP members and want know their opinion about what is happening. It's pity but some of newcomers did not answer to my message. Maybe they are multi, but I can't prove it. And don't know who owns them.
P.S. eKGB watching you.
@Nata what are you implying with Kakumei? And I'm not sure I'd want to publicize any relation you have with Keks-n...
>And I'm not sure I'd want to publicize any relation you have with Keks-n...
I simply informed about it because his article is top1 in eRussian press.
